This number is very sneaky. They said they were called Van Gorps. That's a welding company I applied for but my application didn't go through. So, I think they are stalking me online.

If Minnie was scammed, she was scammed almost 8 years ago. Why are you responding to an 8 year old post? Bored?

Debt collector calling me endlessly, even though I have good credit and don't owe anyone anything.

If they were so legitimate why are they calling a cell phone number for Constanza which isn’t even my name? BTW, I’ve had this cell phone number for years!  I shouldn’t have to waste my time  searching this 800 number belonged to then calling them only to find out that they had called a wrong number.  I am going to report this to the FTC because they  could have checked, just like I did before I called them, who the number belonged to. I’m going to keep record if they manage to call me again from another number because I am blocking this 800 number.

Since I have received spam calls before, I don’t answer them. If they leave a message and they are legit I save the number with the name of the person/company that called me.  I  googled the number, then googled the company. I called back because I thought they were legitimate, however they asked for a Constanza person which is not me and I have had this phone number for years!  I also have worked for  a collection agency and I had to work on making sure all their licenses were up-to-date and their do not call list is up-to-date. My cell phone has been on the do not call list for years! I will be reporting them to the FTC. I’m also going to block their number on my cell phone.

Report them to the FTC. Make sure you’re on the do not call list.

Rude and fraudulent, someone , somewhere owed somebody in the last 7 or more years. Just a business trying to intimidate and strike fear into older people!

Just don't answer the call from unknown  numbers. Block the number. You will not hear it ring.

That solves the problem.
