- Jane| 2 repliesThis is an office supply scam! You will get your product, but not discounted at all and they are not "closing a warehouse" and "selling out at cost" - the cost will be full retail and in some cases DOUBLE!! AND WITH A SHIPPING CHARGE!!! No office supply company charges for shipping. Omni Services also goes by Liberty Supply Co. And I have also received a call from "Cooper Office Supply" from South Carolina. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!
- Caller: Omni Services/Michelle Moore
- Jane| 1 replyAnd PS, the Texas Attorney General's office already has 2 complaints on file for Omni Services, AND there are 23 Better Business Bureau complaints filed against them!!

- PandaB replies to Jane| 1 replyI wish that I had researched this company before accepting their phone call and falling for their bull. I recv'd a call from Michele Moore saying that their company was in the process of going out of business and was trying to sell of their remaining inventory at below market value in order to help move the merchandise faster. I ordered some items on 6/15 ad recv'd my order on 6/28 w/o an invoice but it did have a packing list which caught eye by saying that there was a 15 day contractal term on the product. By receiving the product on 6/28, i've alredy lost 13days of this term and still had no invoice. I called and spoke to Michele. I asked where was my invoice and made note to her about the 15 day contract term. She stated not to worry about the term and that I would receive my invoice shortly. On 7/7, I received my invoice for over $3000 and of course hit the roof. Needless to say the last time that I spoke with Michele Moore was my last. I was then being forwarded to Elaine Clark. To shorten a long story, I now have the product of which I am about to return back to them. I was hit with all of these ridiculous return policies that were never stated before such as restocking fees, return shipping fees and paying for their shipping fee to get the product to me. I went through pure h*ll to even get the return authorization but I've finally got it. However I will have to swallow the expense of having the items returned to them so please people whatever you do, do not fall for this.
- Jane replies to PandaBPanda, don't you dare pay all that crap!!! You get that Elaine Clark on the phone and reiterate that you know they are CRIMINALS and they know what they are doing is ILLEGAL and they WILL waive all fees. They are NOT your vendor. If for some reason they won't waive all the fees, just don't pay them. I would absolutely refuse. NO OFFICE SUPPLY COMPANY ANYWHER CHARGES FOR SHIPPING!!! And you were probably told it was a "local" warehouse being liquidated, right? Definitely no shipping charges on that. The only thing you should pay is your shipping charges to return the product - and send it insured but send it the longest, slowest & cheapest method. Let them take you to court - which they never would because they are SCAM ARTISTS!! I am not going to give up until that skanky Michelle Moore is out of a job and she and Elaine Clark are digging ditches together somewhere.
Panda, where are you located? In what city? - Jan| 2 repliesI was also caught up in their scam. Was told shipping would be paid by them. Was told this was a local company wanting to sell at very discounted rates so they would not have to pack inventory when consolidating companies. They are contacting schools to "help" the schools out on budgets. I asked numerous times in detail about pricing, to make sure that I understood the pricing I was given, but Michelle didn't have a calculator to verify the pricing I came up with, she was only making the calls and wasn't within access to office supplies to help figure out pricing. The order came with a packing slip, but no amount due. I received the bill several days after product was received, with an outrageous amount. When I called to complain about the price, I was told that all calls are recorded and that a supervisor is on the line with the representative at the time the order is placed. I was never told that my call was being recorded. I told them that I wanted to return the merchandise, they said I had to pay the shipping and a re-stock fee of 15%. What I figured the cost of my order to be $92.88, turned out to be a total of $1,173.75. When I said that their company had an F rating with the BBB, the woman got very irate and short with me. I said I felt that they were doing a bait and switch tactic, and saw that they had the complaint of being a deceptive telemarketing company. I then spoke with a supervisor that said she would try to meet pricing from companies I regularly deal with, but they had to be the same item, brand name and packaging. I would never have ordered a thing from them had I known this is how they conduct business.

- Jane replies to JanJan, if I were you, I'd send it all back and refuse to pay, period. They are CRIMINALS. What are they going to do, take you to court? Send it all back and report them (as I did) to the Texas Attorney General's Office and to the BBB. And they LIE - their calls are not recorded. Do NOT let them push you around!!! They are CRIMINALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Jane| 1 replyEveryone, please also google 888-612-1293 and find this similar page under that phone # and tell your story there! This 800# is not used by Omni as frequently as their 888#. I have reported Omni to Clark Howard, the TX Attorney General's Office, the BBB, and posted about their scam everywhere I could find to post. THEY ARE CRIMINALS AND SHOULD BE STOPPED!!!!!!

- Jane replies to JanJan, or tell them "I'm not paying for this crap, and if you want it back you can send me a UPS call tag. Otherwise, see you in court and I'll be sure to bring your box of crap." They'll start calling you all the time - just don't answer the phone. Their calls do not come in with any caller ID... completely blank. It's easy to see when they call!!!!
- Massachusetts says NO WAY replies to JaneI received a call and was quite suspicious of the way the woman was pushing the items. I asked did she have something to email me with the list of items and prices. She said yes, I can fax it to you. I have yet to receive the fax. I am so glad to know of this website and able to read all the feedback on this company. I have alerted our offices to be aware.
- CindyA woman who identified herself as Kayla Baker from Omni Services, Aurora, IL, contacted me, the CEO of a nonprofit company in Chicago, and told me that "Barbara Jones from the Cook County Clerk's office" told her to call me directly because Barbara thought I would be interested in purchasing tape and post-its at a below-retail price. I asked Kayla why someone from that office would even know who I was, or my direct phone number - and why would anyone call a CEO of a national corporation to sell office supply overstock? She said that she was calling me 'because she did not want to step on anyone's toes.' I asked for her phone number and she gave me 800-483-9724. The number on my caller ID was 940-612-0511 - which is a number out of Denton or Wichita Falls, TX. I told her that the numbers did not match and that the 940 area code was not an Aurora IL area code, and that I would be checking into the legality of her company's business practices - and that she might want to look for a job where she was not required to lie on behalf of her employer.

- JRTried to scam me and sent package - refused it from UPS and had it sent back. "Michele Moore" so she says her name was called and started yelling at me saying why did I refuse the order. I said a few choice words and mentioned that they are scammers and you can't call them as the number is outbound only.

- AnnThis is not a legit company - they scam you by saying they got your name from the Chamber of Commerce or the county and they are trying to liquidate office supplies. Once they get you sucked in they send you office supplies that are 2-3 times higher than the average price of office supplies plus a shipping charge that is outrageous. Staples gives free shipping on any orders over $100. Any company that does not have a website that you can go to and a phone number that is outbound only is SCAMMING.

I was hesitant and called my local office supply guy who suggested I Google the phone number. Based on information here, I will NOT be purchasing any products from this company!
