NEW 800 PHONE NUMBER: Omni Services is now using the following #1-888-612-1293 Was contacted by a women named Kim Kennedy selling office supplies from a business that was closing due to the economy.  When order arrived the bill was over $4,000.00.

BEWARE PEOPLE, this is a huge scam, if anyone says they are selling discounted office supplies hang up the phone.

'Sue Barnes' of Omni Services contacted our office stating the same things you all mention: local business closing, trying to sell off excess inventory, etc.  I asked her to fax something to me, which she did.  Her return number is 1-877-931-0005.  There is no indication on the fax where this company may be located, nor is there any pricing information.  I was suspicious from the beginning and I am glad I found the information posted here!

Unfortunetly we were victims of this scam also...Lady on the phone did not tell us we were purchasing cases of stuff and now we are stuck with an invoice of over $2,700.00.... HELP WHAT SHOULD WE DO?!?!

What did you do to resolve this problem?  I am in the same boat.

The Texas Attorney General now has 6 complaints against this company.

I am dealing with this scammer right now and she has a southern accent.  She is going by Dixie Martin and I will handle her when I call her in a moment at 877-931-0005... If I were you... I would return the items to her, and NOT PAY THE BILL.  You may want to include a letter from your legal department. If you don't have one then let them know your legal department is looking into the matter.  Good luck!

This person called and they are very compelling.  SCAM... They are selling discounted items.  They called this time last year and they are doing it again.  We will not order but is there a way to get them to stop?

Caller was a souther gal named "Dixie Martin" with Omni Services in Gallup, NM 877-931-0005 Don't know where they are really from.

I'm so glad you all have posted here! I just received a call from southern accent Dixie Martin with a phone # of 877-931-0005. When I asked who refered our business to her she said the County Clerks office, which I knew would never do such a thing. I asked if she would send me an email or fax & she stated the company is down sizing & they took her computer & her fax is in for repair. I told her this sounded like a scam & then she said she could go to the business accross the street & fax me the "discounted" list. I received the fax & there is no fax # of where it came from.

I hope & pray anyone else contacted by this scam thinks to check online. That is why I've posted this.

I too received a call from Dixie Martin, southern girl, phone number 877-931-0005. Claiming to be from Omni Services in Cumberland, MD. There is no such company in Cumberland. She said she got our number form the County Clerks office. Not true. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. Do not order from these people.

Just got a call yesterday from a "Amy Jameson." Same story, "warehouse closing" etc. My gut instantly told me scam but we started talking prices. Prices were same as retail or slightly below. Asked for a price sheet to be emailed but "she had no access to email since they are shutting down" so I told her she could fax a price list on the few items we may or may not be interested in. Never got a fax. Said she would call back Monday, can't wait to hang up the phone on this SCAM!!

They are still up to no good. Our company got scammed. "Linda Bell" contacted one of our partners and then called back after receiving the name of our office manager from the partner. She made it seem like the partner had authorized the order, so our office manager placed a small order of products that are used a lot in our office. I am glad that I came across this website. We have yet to receive our package/products, but when it is brought in for delivery I will REFUSE the package. I'd really like this woman to call back so I can give her a piece of my mind. How do these people live with themselves?? I really hope they are not having children.

Oh Crap!  I just got taken!  :(:(  HELP!  We have unloaded all the supplies and now have received the invoice that is almost $7,000!!!   This is SOOO not what I was quoted on the phone!!  HELP!

They have got me!  I just got a delivery week ago, I was out of the office at the time it came in so someone else signed for it.  I called and asked why I received this shipment, they said I ordered it. I wouldn't have ordered half of what they sent as I don't need anymore small or medium binder clips!!  and the also invoiced me for pens that aren't even here!!  Did not receive them!!  Their pricing is 1400 more than what I would pay for my normal supplies that I get!!  What do I do???  Keep them and tell them I'm not paying that I know they have tried to scam me??  We are a Non Profit Community Services board, hard working tax payers fund us!  This is crap!!  I feel like an idiot!  if anyone can offer advice please do vhunt@nrvcs.org

DO NOT fall victim to these people I just received a call from 877-931-0005 the lady did have a southern accent with the name Amy Jamison she also stated she was referred to me by the County Clerks office and was given the approval by my ED that all these items she was rambling off at a discounted price she would not let me get a word in kept stating they have all these great prices. I was wise enough to tell her DO NOT put our order through until I call back with approval. I tried calling the number right back and sure enough the voicemail did not state their company name. Total crap that these people get away with calling companies and selling nothing!! I sure hope that this does not keep happening and that these crooks get caught!

The are using the 877/931-0005 number now- lady is names Casey- says they are from a local company going out of business and they have offered to the local schools first so they only have black pens, no blue, only have medium binder clips, etc- she asked if the Operations Officer had told me that she had called last week, blah, blah- stay away

We just had a similar call, same phone number 1-877-931-0005 but this week she's calling herself Ashley Adams. Same scam except that she said the "County Clerk's office" is downsizing and wanted to get rid of some supplies. Exaggerated southern accent.

I just received a call from this same number from "Katie James" offering the same things..I guess they are changing their names again!!!  (877-931-0005)  Previous company was suckered into ordering thru our secretary, after much work we kept the items and paid the current "sale" price that I found in a local office supply catalog. Not the deal my Secretary thought she was getting.. Lesson learned!!! HANG UP!!!
