- RICHARD| 1 replyThe 8oo number in question belongs to MEDCO and is checking on a medicine order or a reminder. If you are not connected with MEDCO you may press you mute button and lay the phone down or just hang up, I sometimes place the phone near the radio and let them listen to whatever station I am listening to. It took three or four calls, but they got the message.

- DwightThey ( Number ) calls everyday and never stops. We talked to them a few days ago but they still call day after day. We have bought from them but we must still be on the list. They were nice when we talked to them. Don't know why they called again. ( Always in the morning ) Wife has paid for their medication and so far they have not cheated us. They are honest but the calls. Grrrrr... LOL!!!

- Dwight.Forgot to say it was from Medco.

- M| 1 replyIt's MEDCO, which is an insurance program for prescription medications. They are calling to let you know that they are about to raise your copay on your medications unless you want to use their mail-in pharmacy to get your prescriptions. They will also call to let you know when they are about to charge you for your next medicine copay if you are already doing the mail-in medicine program. They will mail you letters about it also. If you don't have Medco they shouldn't be calling you.

- M replies to MOh and just for the record - no, they never leave any messages and that is SO annoying.
- Tia| 1 replyIt's Medco and they call me almost every day - my home and my cell. If I answer, it's a recorded message that cuts off - I never get the chance to speak to a real person. It's very frustrating. I called the 800 number I have for Medco through my employer to make a complaint and they told me there isn't anyone I can speak to for complaints - they don't take complaints - I would have to speak to Aetna. I called Aetna - they don't take complaints either - referred me back to Medco. Called my employer's HR department and they couldn't tell me anything either. I just cannot believe this.
- Caller: Medco
- BrandyThey COULD have left a message saying it was Medco please call us back, etc. without divulging personal info. Instead they choose to call you over and over and over and over again.

- Ryegot a call, didn't answer, no voicemail. I also have medco thru my work
- J replies to stadime too...medco is on the caller id. I work nights so I just get waken up and when I do answer nobody is there. they have called at least 200 times. I finally talked to someone and they said they were calling because of insurance I have at work, I'm so angry at these people and just realized I never found out what they wanted. no matter I am canceling anyway. actually my meds cost about $200 more after all the co-pays and monthy insurance than if I just shop around the internet. why am I not on that do not call me list!!! (my next google)
- GregI have Medco at work. When I called back, "Erica's" excuse was "it's an automated system." That is supposedly a solicitation. Why they'd solicit someone who already gets all their meds through them, I do not know. I asked her for her home phone number so I could pay someone to use an "automated system" to call and hang up on her from time to time. Since it's an "automated system" would that be okay? She put me on the "do not call" for solicitations list.

- RonFortunately, my phone has a setting where I can send specific numbers directly to voice mail, but the number still shows up in my missed call list, They call constantly.
- ml replies to SolvedIT| 1 replyThat's bs . . . our business has been inundated by this number spamming us for weeks. It is not "our pharmacy" or anything of the sort. It is telemarketing / spam.
- cindyno message call constantly
- doomchamberYep. It's Medco. The guy was pleasant enough. When I told him that I did not need anything and that all my prescriptions were ok and up to date, he did not try to do anything further. He wished me a nice day and that was it.

- Cecilio BoyacaIf you have MEDCO they will call you; if you don't have MEDCO they will call you as well. Not even the DO NOT CALL feature will help. They must have friends in high places, because there is no way to stop them and they can get away with it.
- Caller: MEDCO

- JeffThey called for awhile and stopped.... now they are calling again. When I answer, they just hang up!

- Tired of Unwanted callsGot a call from 800 496-4910. They do not leave messages, therefore, I do not consider the calls too important. One of these days they will realize that they are wasting their time because I NEVER respond to 800 numbers. All of the people that I wish to talk to have regular numbers or I will call them!
- Caller: Unknown
- steve| 1 replyI also receive many calls from 800-496-4910. That is how I found this site.
After reading a bit, what a lot of people don't realize is that the Do Not Call list only
applies if the company does not have a previous "Business Relationship" with you.
When your employer signs up for Medco, I guess they turn over the entire employee database to MHS for solicitation. This constitutes a "business relationship".
After all it is one of your "employee benefits".
The Do Not Call Registry does not help for this.
The other way to look at it is: The Rules don't apply to big companies.- Caller: Medco Health Solutions

- KouratsopoulosCalled 12:15 p.m., 4/11/12. No message. Was actually quite welcome at the time, because it allowed me to "take a call" and excuse myself out of a tight spot. :-)
