Stated that they are trying to collect a debt of Excess amount of 10,000 dollars the company that is trying to collect the money is A-1 Leasing

My office received a call from 800 509-6060 and asked for me, when they were advisied that I was out of town our operator was told to have me call the above number which they stated was the Chester County Court (Chester County, PA).  They left a call-back #, extension #, case #, and name.  I did not/will not respond to unknown 800 #s.

received a similar call today left same message any ideas who this is, except they stated it was cna incorp.

I received a call today person said he was a private investigator and I should call 800 509-6060 Art Thomas ext. 212 at CNA incorp.

wHATS THE POINT WE USE PI'S ALL THE TIME!

Received a call today from someone claiming they were a PI and would be going out into the community to talk to people about me.  Threatened to try and have state license revoked.  PI not registered with State of Oregon or Louisana!!

I received a call at work (this number was on the caller ID).  They knew my name and my fax number.  The caller was very rude and asked if I could tell her why "this bill hasn't been paid".  I am not in accounts payable.  I asked her if she could fax a copy of the invoice and I would see that the correct person got it.  She said she didn't send invoices and that she was only going to collect money.  I needed to send $1,000 right away.  I again said that if she would fax something I would look into it.  She then rattled off my fax number and hung up.  I never received a fax.  I have no idea what she was talking about.  I'm sure it's a scam.

Received a voicemail from "Yolanda" from the Offices of CNA? Just left this same 800 number and her xt # 155. No explaination.

Got a call on Tues from a PI saying they were going to do an "asset and liability investagation" against our company. And I was suppose to call Rose Hill to find out why. Then Thurs got a call from Rose Hill looking for the owner.

Got a message to call Mrs. Ross at 800-509-6060 ext 176, she asked for me and new my name, would not say as to what the message was in reference to. Called her back and got her voice mail, left her a message to contact back and say what it is in reference for.

Got a call from a guy claiming to be John Rubenstein today. When I told him the person he was asking for was out to lunch, the level of rudeness went off the chart. Accused me of lying and saying I was the employee while using profanities the whole time. Said they were outside about to serve him papers, but went out front and there was nobody there. From what I've read above, I don't think that THEY know who the hell they are! The number on Caller ID was 800-509-6060.

Just received a call from this number showing on caller id 504-469-9545 and IDENTIFY themselves as a FIRM called CNA on the voice mail a person by the name Joann told me that i half a to call this toll free number 800-509-6060 and reference a case number... okay is this a law firm??? if someone want to take me to court i would be served papers. this sounds like a scam be-careful out there...

One of my employees got a call today.  Caller id...Paul Garret P.I. 800-509-6060.  Said that I was being sued and needed info. VERY RUDE person. When transfered to my voice mail they hung up.

Recieved call from 800-509-6060 they stated it was from the "Chester County Court", and left a call-back #, case #, and person to ask for.  All info they left is bogus, this is their way to trick you into calling some collection agency back.  Ignore this call, if you really owe someone money they will contact you by mail.

New Tactic: "Investigating Pre-litigation"...Nice.  Can you say scam artists?  Might be nice if they could just fess up.  Yeah, might also be nice if we were overdue on a bill.  Ever though of the honest approach?  Ya think a small business doesnt know who they do business with? Thanks Mr. Garrett Tamplain at COFACE....you have demonstrated that there are corrupt business practices that are almost thriving!

Okay they just called saying they are CNA INVESTIGATIONS, left me a voice mail at 5:31pm PST saying that they are going to contact my local police dept if I didnt call them back by 5:30PM Central time. ??? That is impossible, first of all.

Secondly, I know what it is for, and they are just a collection agency. Can a collection agency file criminal charges? I think the amount I owe to the original creditor is less than $500.

Today at 11:35am some guy named Adam Armato called our office in Puerto Rico, asked to have the call returned to the same phone number 800-509-6060 at X. 324. Said nothing else.

Please Mr.Debtor, Look at coface.com and see what we do here. My div. as stated to you is Pre-Litigations. I over see credit insured cases. My company provides credit insurance along with other things like collections. The cases that I handle if not resolved vol. do go to court directly off of my desk. Belive what you want out their but I give fair warning and leave you with this though, If you ran an insurance biz and covered the bills that your clients never recv payments would you not want to recover the large amount of funds that you are paying out. On the other end, do you think Coface would not look into a biz that they are about to either reco suit or assign an attny to see how liquid that comp or self own biz is? To everyone on this site, I would belive what is being said on the other line. I have worked at collection offices and coface is not into the smoke and mirrors old school way of collecting.----
oh and Mr. Business Owner/ Mr Debtor. I would greatly like to see your face when this message along with all the letters, noted messages, and attempts to resove is read and presented in fornt of a jude. Again belive what you want and do what you want. But like Albert E. found out many years ago "Every action has a reaction"

After reading your post, I can't help but wonder if you've ever heard of "Spell Check" and/or"Grammar Check".  If you or any one from Coface called me using grammar like that, I'd hang up on them.

Also, threats of arrest, publishing a debtor's name, or threats of any kind are illegal and are dealt heavy fines. In additon, "reco" is a Federal civil and/or criminal charge.  Not one that, a collection agency or their attorney can institute.
