"Steve" calling from Microsoft tech support who wanted to get into my computer and clean out the viruses and malware.

Microsoft virus scammer. Same old virus removal scam. Heavy middle eastern accent and call center background sounds all with middle eastern accents.

Middle eastern accent. Said he was from Microsoft tech support. Wanted me to open my computer to remove viruses and malicious software.

Looks like they’re trying to make their scam legitimate with an 800 number. Usually when I get this call it’s from other area codes.

800-513-8282‬ CID “Unknown” so I declined call. Caller left no message.

Daniel, with middle eastern accent, from Microsoft. I quickly informed him I didn’t have any Microsoft issues and he hung up.

Same thing here, and he tried to be pushy about it.  Told him to take a hike.

Called my cell phone but left no message.  I know no person with a 800 number so I never answer  800 numbers since I suspect that the call must involve a scam.  I am grateful to read what call recipients have revealed.

Called told me my computer has a virus, after I kept him on hold to change my password and log in, and my computer blue screened the guy cursed me out.

heavy indian accent "PETER" from micro soft needs to fix my computer, it is sending bad messages !! I told him I have an APPLE computer, he was too stupid to know it has nothing to do with micro soft, and he said turn on your apple computer. what an idiot, for sure. I told him NO, I don't have time for his scam. he hung up !!

Butt head scammer.  What a lame-o.  Do people really believe this caller to log into their computer?  Wow.

called at 1329 jul 30, to house phone.  no message left, no caller id of course..

called at 1040 jul 30 to our house phone, left no message and no caller id.  you'd think they'd put up a plausible caller id, so prospective victims would be more likely to answer..

Called staiting he's from microsoft wanting to get into my computer,Be careful it's a hacker.

"Jake" calling from Windows Tech...and I hung up....

Low life scammer posing as Microsot.

Same as others. Very persistent - I hung up twice, and he called back immediately.  The third time I just hit "ignore."

Dangerous scammer, claimed to be Peter from Microsoft calling about viruses and spyware on my computer. (Disclaimer: I've been programming computers since I was 6 years old. I know how to avoid viruses and how to get rid of them if I ever got one.) I've played along with this scam before, just to see what happens, and they eventually direct you to a *remote access* website where you would give them total access to your PC and they can install whatever ransomware, viruses, or spyware they choose. In this case, I told the guy that I was aware of the scam, and he told me to go F myself. I just laughed and he hung up... Yeah, definitely not Microsoft!! The sad thing is that some people are computer illiterate enough to fall for it. :(
