I always tell them I work for Microsoft too and ask them for the 10 digit PRN number on the bottom of their Microsoft ID badge.  I made that up by the way.  Anyway, they usually squirm for a little bit trying to answer the question.

This number call me I like what the hell! Then he try scam me but I smart so I say no do not call this number

I got a call from this number as well. Someone named Michael from Microsoft. who immediately handed me over to the senior technical support person who wanted access to my system. I asked him for his Microsoft credentials and he said he had nothing but his Microsoft badge. Warning red flag I thin told him this sounds like a scam to get in my machine he said it wasn't but I chose not to believe him and hung up!

Called at 11:05am on Wed October 10. Microsoft virus scammer. Same old virus removal scam. Heavy Indian accent and call center background sounds.

Middle eastern man claiming to be from Microsoft saying my laptop had a virus. When I informed him that I myself did not have a laptop he proceeded to start screaming at me calling me a liar. Great conversation.

Called and left no message but the at&t call protect app marked it as suspected spam.  Blocked.

Did not answer, caller left no message.

Fake Microsoft tech.  I laughed at him and asked if he was aware that I knew he was. Scammer. He hung up. I politely blocked his call.

Scammer wanting access to my computer

Foreigner..mid east... SCAMMERS..I would say scam "artist" BUT they have NO TALENT whatsoever!!  Like the rest of the people here leaving comments, THEY attempt to convince you that you have a virus or a problem with your PC which is funny when you're only running Android systems!!  I usually tell them to go take a flying f*****g leap off of the nearest minaret!

Didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. No message left. Came on here to see who the heck would call before 6am, and am glad to see my suspicions were correct.

Claims you have virus scam. They will try to access your computer via remote access, if you follow their advise and end up giving them permission to do so.

It's a scam that has been happening for a long while. Apparently, they are still alive.

I keep getting calls from this number no message left.  I called back and ask her to stop calling me , she said I don't know what product your calling about ,  I am not calling about any product please stop calling me  scam

I received a call this morning from a guy with an accent saying that my computer has a virus.  I asked him if we called him and he got a tad aggressive saying I'm telling you your computer has problems.  They've been getting problems with the email and such.  Anyway, I asked him why wasn't he talking to our IT, I was a different department.  He hung up so fast.  I knew it was a scam from the beginning.  It's amazing the lengths people go through to deceive others to rob them.

at 8 AM and I don't answer unknown calls... I haven't even used Microsoft in 5+ years.
