Got a call from this number and the caller's intro was totally unintelligible. Sounded like a bad connection which I blamed on my cellphone. He gave his name again which I still didn't hear very well and then asked for me by name. He then began to ask me to verify my identity. Wait...who is this?? His response was that if I refused to identify myself, he would be ending this call. And then he hung up on me. Strangest call I've received...

People need to google their names as well as their phone numbers and places like Spokeo that show up, they need to remove that info. Facebook accounts should also be checked to make sure their private info is not public.

The laws only allow x things to be done, some of these company's are abusing the laws.

I keep getting same call and I do not answer and then they hang up and do not leave a msg.  Today I picked up and they asked for me by first and last name and I said tell me who you are first and he would not just repeated my name and I said you keep calling and don't leave msgs. why is that?  He then asked me if my birthdate was a certain date and I told him to send me something in the mail I am not confirming anything over the phone.  He started mubling something while I was hanging up.

Kim from 800-917-9304 called this morning and would just say the call was regarding a personal matter. I said you can't give me the company name, no disrespect to her but that is fn ridiculous.  I called back and Kim answered the phone saying the company name of Safety Recovery Services.

Big companies like this can also pay for all of your information on line.  And you are right- they will call your emergency contact.

Wanted me to send Money to a P.O. Box.  Really, a P.O. Box.  Scam City use your caller ID and don't answer or call back.  These people are everywhere.  Keep an eye on elderly parents and friends.  They prey on them!

Sometimes no one answers.  Do not clarify who it is.   Has called my phone every hour or less on the phone.   One day called 15 times in a 9 hr span

In reading the discussions, it seems like a debt collector for the Cleveland Clinic, which is a place we've visited. Perhaps my wife forgot to pay something. Regardless, I prefer to handle all communication through mail so we have documentation. Thus, I blocked them.

Got a call from that number at 16.31 on 5th January - a female first asked my name then asked for my birth year. About an hour later I tried the number myself and a male answered on the second ring - so at least it isn't one of these spam callers that vanish as soon as you read your caller-ID.
