I am receiving calls from Hyundai Motor Finance Collections Dept.  I don't own a Hyundail and never have.  Obviously T-Mobile gave me a used number.  I've told 2 different collection dept I am not the person they are after.  They said they would remove the number. Still getting calls from Hyundai.

I own a hyundai, they call 3 or 4 times a day, even when I pay online they call and ask for a payment. Several timnes I told them that I would pay at end of week when I get my paycheck and they told me that they would continue to call everyday even though I had made an arrangement to pay on Friday.

I continued to get several calls a day at two different phone numbers even though I explained that we had traded this car in and they just needed to wait for the payoff check to arrive from the Hyundai dealer. This company owned both loans, and I explained several times to several collectors that the car had been traded in and to please put a hold on this account. I received 62 collection calls in less than a three week period. I explained the situation to several of them, and asked them to make a note in my file and to stop calling me. Even when I got a manager on the phone, told her the name of the lady at the car dealer who was FedExing a check that day, I still got a collection call the next morning. Twice I told them I was going to contact someone about harrassment charges - once they hung up on me - the second time it was to the manager and she told me that three to six phone calls in a day is not harrassment. I am sending a letter to the Better Business Bureau today.

They have called my personal cell twice today asking for one of my employees.  I explained both times to not use my cell number, and that I would have the employee call them back.  They claimed they would remove my number from the record.  Both callers would identify themselves, but did express regret about the mis call.  ??

These people have called my phone everyday, sometimes twice a day. I have told them several times that I'm not Dorothy or Doris because that's the name that they ask for.  And I've never owned a Hyundai and my cars are paid for. I was informed by the [***] that called that for them to STOP calling I MUST tell them 3 times. I have told them over 10 times to stop calling, my next call will be to my Atttorney and The Business Bureau. I never knew that Hyundai ran such a piss poor business.

Keep getting calls from Hyundai Collection Agency...have never owned a Hyundai and never will!!!. I own a Chevy Lumina for 12 years been paid for the past 7 yrs. Before that Acorsa 5 yrs. A olds. 13yrs. What kind of gimmick going on, I am calling the Attorney General's office to see if there's a scam. They don't know my name or my address or my land phone. If I bought a Hyundai from a dealership they would have all this information needed to get a loan....How many people are in on this scam...........
.What contribution is it miraculous going to stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It may not be a scam.  Its possible that someone else bought a Hyundai and lied on the loan application, givint your phone number instead of their own.  That person never planned to make the payments.  You are getting calls aiming for him.

If thats the case tell the caller "<name they are looking for> does not live here.  I have no idea how to find him.  You have got to stop calling this number."  For the last sentence use exactly those words.  If the bank is legitimate the calls will stop.

That happened to me some deadbeat named Michael gave my phone number on a car loan and stopped making payments.  I said those words and got exactly 1 more call.  That call was from a 3rd party bill collector.

Ask your provider how to block the calls.  If they don't have one put the number in your contacts list and assign it the ring tone "no rint".  That won't stop the calls but it will make them easier to ignore.
