It takes more than a few pages of call reports to do something about it. People need to follow through with information that proves what they are doing and submit it to the proper authorities. Most people just complain and ask why nobody is doing anything, never following through with anything they can use to catch anyone.

I submitted for a TCPA lawsuit. They are liable for 1500 for each call. This number is overdue for a class action suit :)

Then you have their company name and address so why don't you post it for all the rest of us.  By the way, if you lawyer told you that

You might want to get a new lawyer since the statute says $500 per call.  Now treble damages might come into play but that would be up to the judge.  As far as a "class action" by all means turn you current lawsuit into one.  I am sure that 5 to 10 years from now that $25 you get out of it will come in handy.  Heck, it might even pay for a case of beer.

You should know a Class Action suit will yield less money with each person added to the suit, as opposed to suing individually.

Fake call. Says I didn’t return a car

Received a letter in the mail from Hertz stating I rented a car that was overdue.  Had very accurate information on it.  It requested I call 800-552-8482.  When I did it asked to dial 1 for assistance.  Yes, what a hack !

Rented car from Hertz 2 months ago and returned it last month. Hertz must have had a data breach. This caller is spoofing Hertz number and trying to commit identity theft. Hertz says that they never called me and they’ve been getting complaints about these calls.

Don't know how it got through my spam blocker. Thought it was important and made the mistake of answering it. It was a recording stating that my Hertz rental was overdue and I needed to contact them immediately. I do have a long-term rental from Hertz in Houston, so I thought maybe they forgot to charge my credit card last week? On call waiting with Hertz to find out what's going on. I have last week's receipt in my emails. But the real question is how did the scammers know I have a Hertz Rental!

a voicemail was left that the car rented by me is overdue.  When I called they said they took care of it.  I am not sure what they took care of .  They claim to be Hertz vehicle call control service from the phillipins.  It is for sure a scam

Frequent robo calls and texts from "Hertz Dollar thrifty" stating that my rental car has not been returned, although I have not rented a car in years.

Received a call two days in a row-1/16,1/17 2024- from this number about an overdue Hertz car rental.
The computerized voice gave a reference number so quickly I couldn’t write it down.
Called the number above and after being on hold a gentleman with a strong foreign accent (Asian it sounded like) answered.
He asked for the rental agreement number.
I told him I’d never rented a car from Hertz.
He asked for the rental agreement number again. When I couldn’t give it to him the “ Representative” asked for my phone number.
I told him “ You already have it since your number called mine”. The representative hung up.

Several days in a row I’m receiving calls from “Hertz, Dollar, or Thrifty” stating my rental car is overdue. They ask me to call them back at (800) 552-8482.
The last time I rented a car was 1995 and I didn’t have a cell phone at that time. Obvious scam. Blocked the number they are calling from.

This number has called me several times over the past few days stating my Hertz rental is overdue. Hangs up before giving me the rental agreement number. I have NEVER rented a car a day in my life.
