- SHIRLEYSTATED THEY WERE DOING A SATISFACTION SURVEY ABOUT MY INSURANCE PLAN.HUNG WHEN I SAID I DID NOT HAVE THE PLAN ANYMORE.
- Call type: Survey
- DukeThey've called before and I've not answered. Just now I answered and yelled into the phone "YO!". The woman giggled and started yammering about a satisfaction survey from Cablevision, my local cable company. I told her not to call here any more and put in a 4-letter work followed by YOU just to let her know that I really wasn't interested. I pity the poor schmoes who have to call my number. NOT!
- Chris V replies to SharronIf you listen to the message, it allows you to remove your number from their list. Option #2. I tried. Let's see if it works.
- John Bee replies to Chris| 3 repliesHere's the answer:
TRC is a marketing company doing a survey for Chase.
Go to Chase.com, go to the "Contact Us" section, find the "e-mail us" option and tell CHASE about the harrassing calls day and night.
I just did. TRC is outrageous. - simonthese people - amongst others - call three or four times on a day when they decide to call. I now screen everything, and never pick up if I don't know the number. Of course they do not leave a message . . . But I still have to stand over the phone, just in case.
- Caller: ?
- Joe CoolJust got a call from them today, really rude too. Asked for another household member by full name, and the number they called is in MY name, other persons has not been associated with my number. On top of it being an UNLISTED number, how the hell do they know who my spouse is when their names not been on the account, and never has been?
We're on the DNC list too, but between these turds and the Troopers Assoc scam, I'm getting really fed up with calls that are not legit. (I know our state does have a legit troopers assoc, and this number calling is under state investigation, and NOT the real thing!) - DerekThey called my work number around 6:24pm (i leave at 5) and left a message! it seems it was an autodial and i could hear a girl in the background saying ma'am verifying info for somebody else, this message was about 1 minute long of her talking to somebody else, there was lots of noise in the background like a call center cafeteria.
- Caller: chase or TRC market research
- Call type: Telemarketer
- MAPSome one needs to hold these telemarketers feet to the fire! Time for legal action! What the hell does 'do not call' mean when the telemarketer continues to do so! Some law. Time for them to pay us. Time for the lawyers.
- marciaI don't pick up 800 numbers and while they left no message I could hear garbled noises in the background before the click. Appreciated comments informing it's TRC doing a survey and that I can opt to get off their call list. Annoying that I'm forced to listen to their message though just to get rid of them!

- N800-552-9841 claims to be TRC, a market research company. I called this 800 number at night when they were closed. If you stay on the line the voice mail gets to a point where it offers to take your number off their calling list. It only asks you to enter your phone number and nothing else

- DaveI got called today from this number. It was a telephone survey operator hired by Chase (I could hear others in the call center also asking canned questions about Chase). All they wanted was a 5-10 minute phone survey asking how satisfied I was with my Chase credit card, etc. Basically he asked me a bunch of customer satisfaction questions based on a scale of 1 to 10. It was no big deal, but hopefully this is the last I hear from them.

- Norma replies to John Bee| 2 repliesI received a call this morning from 800-552-9841, and it was a marketing research for Chase. I have a United Chase credit card, so they wanted me to participate in a marketing study for Chase to see how they can better their service to their customers. I answered the questions, and at the end was given a name and phone number for a Esther Blakey to confirm the call. When I asked for the caller's name, she gave me her name and job number. When I called Esther Blakey, I got a recording, so I left a message for her to call me back to confirm the call. So far, I have not received a call back, however she may not work on Sundays. The number to call her is 215-641-2229, and when I google it, I cannot get a good name for the number, etc. I called the 800 number for TRC and listened to the entire message, and then opted out of receiving calls in the future. We will see if this works. I am really leery of calls about my credit cards, since there is so much Identity Theft these days. She did not ask for my credit card number or for the security number on the back of my card, which I would not have given to her anyway. She just asked general questions about how satisfied I am with my Chase credit card and their website. I will go to Chase.com and send them an e-mail to let them know also, that I do not want to receive any more calls from TRC marketing, and if they call me about another credit card or any other information, I will not participate again. The women who called was very pleasant, however the call was annoying, as I was in the process of a project. They called around 8:30 P.M. on Saturday evening, but we did not answer the call, as we have caller ID and do not usually answer 800 number calls, however my husband answered the phone this morning and when she asked for me, he brought the phone to me and said he did not know who it was (he did not tell me it was an 800 number or I would not have accepted the call. Boy did he get in trouble, as I always screen phone calls for him, and tell the callers to add our name to their NO CALL LIST, and if they continue to call, I will file a complaint with the FCC. Even though we are on our state's and the federal NO CALL lists, if you have a relationship with the company the caller is calling about, they do not have to honor the list until you personally tell them when they call to add your number to their NO CALL LIST. In this case I have a relationship with Chase. Also the Do Not Call Lists do not apply to charities, churches and some other organizations.
- Maribel replies to Jean| 1 replyThis number only directs you back to the original 800 number which then states that "all circuits are busy now...."
Anyone else have a better idea?
Thanks anyway. - JayCall is one of many toll free numbers that come in under the caller ID of "Toll Free Svc." I've started answering but not saying anything and letting the phone sit with an open line. Next, I'm going to start answering with an ear-piercing scream directly into the mouthpiece.
- Jay replies to MaribelYes. The next time they call, answer the phone with the loudest, longest, most ear piercing scream you can muster.
- JosephRecevied several calls from them, the option that they have to remove you from the list doesnt work. I am going to blow a whistle into their ear the next time they call.
- LindaPeople - the "Do Not Call" list does not block ALL telemarketers. These low-life companies find loopholes and go around the restrictions. They make tons of money solicitating customers for large companies. When you do find out which company these telemarkers represent, call the company yourself and cancel your membership if need be. It's the only way to get back at them. (I did it with Gevalia coffee and that stop ONE annoying telemarketer from calling me!) Business must be very good for these telemarkers because they are popping up everywhere like weeds.
- ILynettei do not want them to call me anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Dan P.Called my business today. They say they are doing a survey that will take 6 minutes and that if i complete the survey they'll donate money to my choice of several charities. Told them not interested and take me off your list.
We'll see if they call back.- Caller: TRC Research
- Call type: Survey
- TDJThey called tonight around 8:50 pm when we were out. They left no message. I do have a Chase credit card so I think it must have been that annoying company that does the surveys that everyone else is complaining about.
