You have to be rude because their calls are unwanted and intrusive and they don't care bout your time or privacy. They are bottom-feeding scumbags.

I have been on the do not call list for years but I still get this annoying call. Never leave a message and no 0ne there when you pick up. Wish they would stop.

All scams.....they then sell your info to other telemarketers .    Best way , it's annoying but gradually they slow down ...I still get 3or 4 calls a week but nothing like it was.  
Don't fall for charity line, or police or fire dept either....reputable charities don't do this.  
Some even post on here and say they are ex telemarketers and they call for Salvation Army.   Which of course does not make these calls.    Do not answer......do not call them......don't press 1 ...you are giving them info.

DO NOT CALL THEM BACK....THAT'S WHAT THEY WANT... You are letting them know its a working number.
Press 1 or 2.  Is also a scam.    That gives them more access .    The do not call list can't go after these people.   They constantly change numbers .   What they do is they also sell your number to other telemarketers.    I used to call back , told the people wasnt interested, calls increased!
Made up my mind not to answer.   Caller I'd or answering.   Sometimes I check out the number online here,
Remember they can say whatever they want.   I doubt Chase would do this.   Also they like to say they are charities.   Reputable charities don't do this.   Ever.   Sometimes they change a word like American Heart Fund...trying to make you think American heart Assn.  same goes for fire and police, they don't do this.
After awhile calls really slow down.   I still get maybe 2 or 3 a week, a lot less than I was getting every day,

I'm finding these calls very tiresome. I've had recent calls from various numbers including this one; reported others to the FCC, they stopped for a while.

I have gotten 2 of them today, also on the Do Not Call List

I am tired of the calls from the following number.  How do we stop this crap???  I'm on "No Call List".
When I answer there is no communication, no message if I don't answer

First stop answering or returning the calls. Second consider a call blocking device/phone or app. Hearing only one ring sure beats 3 to 4.

I do not have a credit card with this company. No legit company calls on week ends and holidays. This call is trying to identify valid numbers for Card SVCS/Consumer SVCS/Etc. Go ahead and answer if you want your number added to robo calling lists!!!!

   I research a harassment/scam caller then post this msg every time a robo number calls.  NEVER press X to opt out, and NEVER respond in any way because it just adds your name to multiple robo calling lists.

   The federal no-call list is a joke - the government does nothing.  The phone company wants the money from robo companies and will do nothing to stop the harassment/robo calls.  Local police do not have the manpower or technology to track/block these calls. Most robo callers are criminals/drug addicts/scammers.  Here is a one-time relatively low cost way to beat those harassment/robo calls.

  I have now defeated >90% of harassment and robo calls.  I went on-line to Amazon and purchased an in-line "CPR CALLBLOCKER"!  It has an inventory of up to 1200 numbers in your call blocker list.  Be careful in setting up the list or you get unexpected blockages of valid incoming calls. Start by blocking all calls using caller ID’s of UNAVAILABLE, PRIVATE, or WITHHELD.   I have also blocked many robo area codes which have no friends or family – 201, 212, 231, 239, 303, 304, 305, 307, 312, 321, 323, 331, 347, 360, 401, 478, 502, 505 ,513, 516, 518, 605, 608, 620, 630, 646, 650, 701, 708, 734, 740, 757, 773, 810, 815, 847, 918, 952, and 970.  ONLY use 3 digit area codes, OR full 10 digit phone numbers (area code with phone number).  Never use 7 digit inputs to the blocking list or you WILL have problems!  Keep a complete written list of area codes and individual blocking numbers.  A small glitch when entering a number into the list can mess up your entire blocking list requiring a hardware reset and complete reprogramming of the list.

   Harassment/robo callers frequently use a spoofing APP to create phony incoming caller ID’s on your phone. Hidden characters in a spoofer Caller ID’s number can sneak the robo call past some blockers.  I use a separate secondary SENTRY BLOCKER that ignores hidden characters and blocks/kills the call when it’s turned ON.

Sep– 38 harassment calls with 26 auto blocked and 10 new numbers added to blocker list.  2 calls got past blocker list. Secondary blocker was turned off.
Oct – 53 harassment calls with 46 auto blocked, 4 new numbers  added  to blocking list. 3 calls got past blocker list because of illegal char in Caller ID number.  Secondary Sentry Blocker that kills hidden characters was turned OFF pending completion of white list.  
Nov – 31 harassment calls with 28 auto blocked, 3 new calls added to blocker list.
Dec – 16 harassment calls with 14 auto blocked, 1 new calls for blocker list + 1 spoof with my Phone #.
Jan – 15 harassment calls with 14 auto blocked, 3 new numbers for blocker list (1 spoof with my own Phone #).  (Current as of 17 Jan 2015)

                             British/Spanish/German msg for solicitors to hang up, and all other valid
                             unlisted callers to dial zero to leave msg on answering machine.
                             When Sentry Blocker is OFF, all calls pass thru to phone/answering machine

I have the ringers on my two land lines turned off. My voice mail is set to record after 5 rings. If a caller won't leave a voice mail, the call never existed.  I get a lot of telemarketing calls during the late afternoon-early evening TV News time period....also during the "Dinner Hour". My TV set  shows incoming calls across the bottom of the screen, nice feature in case I want to answer the phone. I own the phone, not the callers. Periodically I will check my voice mail, and return valid calls... At My Convenience!
Remember, it's your phone, you own it, not the telemarketers! Just Don't Answer!

SO I contacted the proper LAW ENFORCEMENT.

This is a scam. So sick of the 6 calls I get every day from these low lifes

Get calls from these morons all the time! I never answer and looked this number up and was amazed at all the complaints! Put the number in my blocked calls list. Now I just laugh when I see that number called and couldn't get through! Phone doesn't even ring now, lol.

Caller id comes in as "Unavailable" and does not show an area code but I checked my land line provider and the number has an 800 area code.  We've been getting called at least twice a day from this number for the past several days. I've blocked this moron as well.
