This number calls my home daily......they leave no messages, when you pick up .....the caller hangs up???????     " Strange Marketing Techniques "    

I am on the ...Do NOT Call list, .........It has turned out to be useless also.

Got a call today from 1-800-552-9841. Listed on caller ID as TRC 1. The lady on the line asked for Isadora (last name?). No such person at my phone number, nor has there ever been. Caller asked a couple of times again after I told her no such person was here? My number is on the no call list they they should not be calling. Called the number back 3 times and each time the phone went dead; not even a ring? Who are these folks??

They call all the time 1800 552 9841. I ignore BS calls like this! I'm going to report to FCC. I also am on the do not call list. SCAMMERS!!!!!!

Hi. I am one of those people who call you and say that we are calling on behalf of Chase. We are not from Chase Bank but we are independently commissioned by Chase to conduct these surveys without the knowledge of bank employees so as not to avoid any insincere dealings. From what I've been reading off our screens, we're only concerned about your recent visit and will not ask for any personal or banking information. Usually we just ask rating questions and reasons why you gave it a rating of which. If someone asks you account infos then it's not us. I apologize for the inconvenience sometimes.
P.S. we usually don't leave any message.

Here is how I plan to handle this matter: I will go into my local Chase branch this morning, and close both my Chase Accounts. I may or may not tell them why. I DO NOT LIKE TO BE BOTHERED on my cell phone, or any phone. They will have to do without my business as a cost of harrassing me.

Caller asked to speak with the person in charge of our telecommunications, I asked which company he was with, CID showed TRC 1 and he said TRC 1 asked him what is that.  He said a research firm and I told him I was sorry but we do not give out any information over the phone.  He said thank you and we hung up.

Sent him to our "Abandon hope all ye who enter here" voice mail.

These crooks called today at my office claiming they would give $25.00 to a charity if I would spend some time answering their questions about Telecommunications Systems.  I just blew them off.  Cold calls are crook calls.

I received 4 calls in one day from this company with the same caller ID and number and it is non-stop. I am not a customer of chase nor have I ever been and the same goes for my husband. And i am also on the No Call Lists, If they call again im reporting them...

This company calls 4-5 times a day at least and won't leave a message. I have already told them twice to stop calling but they are still calling. It is a market research company wanting to know about my telecommunications plan.

Ok all some advice on dealing with companies like this.
Answer the call let them waist a min. of your time going through there introduction then when they get to asking for any information POLITELY tell them you are not interested. If you just hang up these companies will call you back, if you tell them no before they get done telling you why they call they will just call back later, if you scream or use profanity they will try you again later. If you are polite and ask to not be called back for anything AFTER they do there intro they can remove you without a problem.
Last thing research companies are not covered by the DNC list. the DNC list covers sales and promotional calls a research call is not trying to sell you anything so are free to call unless you ask to be removed from the companies list.

Just got a call from this number 800-552-9841.  I always google phone numbers that I am not
familiar with.  This site last post was the year 2007.  So I decided to answer.  They wanted
the person who was knowledgable about the phone service.  I said the person was not in.
They said they will call back at a different time.  Will not answer when they call back.

Just received a call from 800-552-9841.  A male voice answered and when ask who was calling,  "He replied TRC Marketing Research wanting information about our local telephone service".  I told him that we were not allowed to give out that information.  And he hung up.

I got a call from this # just now...at 7 PM. The caller asked for me by name and I told him he had the wrong #.

Get a whistle and blow up their phone...it worked for me :)

I keep getting calls from this number.  I know that I have previously gone through the process of removing my phone number off their list by following their automated system. . .pressing #2 and entering my phone # to remove me off their list.  Unfortunately, although this is now the 2nd or 3rd time I have gone through the process of removing my phone number from their call list, I somehow keep getting calls from this marketing research firm.

I keep getting calls from this number and when I answer there is nobody on the line
