This number has been calling me every hour without let up and they ignore the answering machine it comes up unavailable and I do not know who it is or what they want. I do not answer calls that can not tell me who they are, however this one I want it stopped.

GETTING HARRASSING PHONE CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER!!!!!

I just got a phone call from them, saying I owe them some 70 dollars since I purchased a Banana Republic product, which does never make sense!
And the guy's English sounds non-native and unprofessional.

For over a month now we have been getting calls from 800-568-0162 looking for a Linda Taylor. We explain there is no Linda here but we continue to get calls. Day & night. They just do not listen...

Phone calls started at 5:02 am Sat. I can set my clock by their calls. It is now 9:10 am. They have called every hour at 2 minutes after the hour. I don't have an account. I got a recording for "GE Moneybank, the insurer for my Sam's club account," which I don't have. I tried calling back to talk to a real person but got a recording to enter my account number. What kind of BS is this.

I have know idea. how they got my in-laws phone number but the caller idea displays this number 1-800-568-0162. and according to my mother in law they are calling for me around 3:00a.m. I have no idea or interest on what they sale or how much they sell it for.

Hope you didn't give your SSN.  No one should EVER ask you for it over the phone unless it's a call you initiate with... let's say your bank or your credit card company.  I just received my first call from this number today.  We DO shop at Sam's but we do not have credit with Sam's.  If they are asking you for this information, it's got to be a scam.

I understand my people are discussing this here. But whatI'm more curious about is why no one here has mentioned reporting these people to the DO NOT CALL registry. All my numbers are registered there and have been since I got them. I called this GE Money for Sam's Club Consumer Credit and jumped through all the hoops. When I told them I'd be filing a complaint with the Do Not Call registry that seemed to get someone's attention. If they are still calling in a week, I'll let you know. The more complaints the Do Not Call registry gets against a certain number, the more likely they will be to take some kind of action about it.

Well this number keeps calling my dad because he is the Sams Club Card Holder (or something like that.) So at one point i answered the call and i hold him i was my dad. He spoke english but talked about random crap and told me that my dad owed a lot of money. I just hung up and continued on with my life. Good thing I found this site.

i got home today and i had 6 missed calls from this number over a 5 minute period.  i looked on here and saw you guys say its from sam's club.  i've never heard of sams club let alone shopped at one.  i called the number and pressed # until i got a live person.  she asked for my SSN or account i told her i do not have an account nor have shopped with them, she took my name and phone number and said the calls would stop immediately.  fingers crossed on that one.

I don't have a sam's club credit card. The robo-message was only to call back at this number. Who are you? What do you want? I'm not in the habit of dialing 800 numbers just to see who answers. Leave a frickin' message!!

It's GE Money. I used to have a Paypal cc with GE Money. But I'm going through a BK so they haven't got the memo I guess. Dont know why they are talking about Sams Club bc I dont have a Sams Club card that is with GE Money. Just the PayPal card?

I called this number back.  It is GE Money Bank.  Watch out for these guys. High interst, High pressure.

They don't say who they are. Thanks for the info- these clowns call all day.. starting off the harassment at 8:05 in the morning and continuing several times through the day, EVERY day. Robo-woman mumbles something about "press any key to continue" like _I_ was the one initiating the call! Sure is a pain. Go away, robo-woman!

They called at 7:23 this morning and woke everyone in the house.  The guy on the phone sounded like he was trying to be professional, but it just came across as fake.  He asked if "Preventa, Preventa Casata" lived here.  I told him no, and hung up.  I suspected it was a crank call.

The caller ID says Sams Club Credit.  They just called me 8 times in a row and wouldn't leave a message.  I don't have a Sam's or Walmart account?!

Clark Howard on HLN this morning said to send a Drop Dead letter to businesses that are harrassing you. Google Drop Dead letter...

Was called at 2:33 in the afternoon. Foreign women voice that left a message no longer than 4 seconds. Could not understand what she left.  I don't shop at Sams Club and I try not to shop at a Wal-Mart for that matter. So with that being said, I too, do not have a Sams Club Card.

It is related to your sam's card.  It is GE Money Bank.  Of course when you call, they will tell you that they do not know anything about this.   I am on the phone with GE right now and it is not going to be pretty

They called and asked for me,and they said they were from Banana Republic credit card, then asked if my birthday is March something, which is wrong - asked if my address is in Florida, which is wrong - and they told me I must be a victim of identity fraud and wanted ME to tell THEM the last four digits of my social security number. No way. I told them they can tell ME and I'll tell them if it's right or not. She continued asking me what the last four digits of my ss are and I just told her NO. Scam obviously.
