- Knot knot| 2 repliesIt's not a scam. You all owe money or know someone who owes money to Kaiser Permanente medical insurance. I forgot to pay my copayment after I left my wallet at home on the way to the E.R. I owe them $50.
- Caller: Kaiser Permanente
- Call type: Debt collector
- ShillKill replies to Knot knot| 1 replyNot a scam? Seems like more than a dozen consumers have raised that possibility. Would you be kind enough then to tell the folks exactly what USCB stands for then?

- Dom| 1 replyRude [***] guy keeps calling me at work and demanding my address because I am being sued! and if I understand the urgency and seriousness of the call. I told him he is forbidden to call a business and he got angry. I demanded a call back number which happend to be 951-330-5914. caller id was 800-575-5076. I called our secretary to ask why she transfered the call and she said they impersonated a client in order to be transfered to me. He refused to give me detail and I hung up on him. I just filed a report with FTB.

- JLH| 1 replyUSCB is trying to collect a debt...since I have dealt with them before and it was for Kaiser Permanente, and I know I still owe them money, I can assure you it isn't a scam, it is a legitimate debt collector who is attempting to collect for medical providers. They are actually quite pleasant to deal with. They will send you a bill with a very small finance fee. My husband lost his job and we got behind...it happens sometimes and it is very stressful. If thave the wrong number, just tell them so, otherwise, ask them to mail you the information.

- That guy replies to JLHExcept for the whole, I've never used or been to kaiser yet I somehow owe them money?
- rdI started getting calls from this number just after receiving a notice from unemployment that my personal information has been compromised. The detail betting asked by the callers would certainly fill in any gaps to allow theft of my identity. A lot of peoples personal info has been compromised recently. If you get a call from these people, ask yourself if you've ever shopped at any of the places that have been hit. Target, Home Depot, etc. The information they request to verify your identity is the same things your bank will ask for to authorize a cash transfer by phone. Oh, and think about it. You're *always* supposed to ask for Carlos Valenzuela. So either they only hire people named Carlos Valenzuela, or you asking specifically for him when you call back is there to alert them which scam they're running on you.

- Angry wolfI received a call from 1800 575 5076, and when finally I call them back SHE ask me for phone # and I said WHO ARE YOU? Instead of answer my question, SHE said I need your personal information firs, and I said REALLY? And I hung up. Don't answer this kind of calls. It's a SCAM call.....
- Ruth MI just got a call from Carlos Valenzuela on my cell phone saying he was calling for debt collection. But he slurred the company name he was supposedly calling for. It sounded something like US FeeBee America? I was suspicious and googled the phone number. Sounds like a definite scam! Like everyone said, don't give out any information, especially your social security number!
