call received 3 times 10-05-07. noone talk when I answered. When tried to call back there were no rings. I tried on cell phone but indicates "call failed". This same situation on this 800 number-800-866-4110.

Got a call from this number, too.  They didn't leave a message.  Will try to answer next time and get the info for everyone!

Call received.....hung up when not answered. Left no message....tried
to return call....very fast busy signal. Was on other line and could
not answer when this call came in.

Caller said he was Mike Rollins with the Tennessee Police Federation....but
could not pronounce my last name correctly.  Told him I was just leaving
my house so he hung up.

We have callwave on our computer.  This number, 1-800-609-0210 has called and left no message several times.  We spend a lot of time on the computer doing genealogy research and I do not intend to call the number to find out who it is.  If they can't leave a message then I do NOT CARE who it is.

This # has called several times a month, always hang up as soon as I say hello. When I try to call back, I get a fast busy signal. Seems like some info could be found to help stop this annoyance.

I am In TN also and recieve calls fromm this number frequently, do not answer it forwards to my voice mail and they leave no message, but when i try to call it  back all i get is a busy signal...wish they would stop calling

Got a call today (1/9/08). They had my wifes name and said they were the 'Police Federation'. Did not leave a message.

Return call had a fast busy signal.

Called today . called first on a blocked number, then later a 1800 number, they asked for my last name, I then hung up

My husband and I live in West Tennessee and received a call from this number on Jan. 9 at 8:30 a.m.  My husband answered and he was hung up on.  We did not appreciate the wake up call.  We are on the do not call list!

In Tennessee:
Man ID himself as a solicitor for Tennessee Federation of Police (money-money-money)....  They called 10 times during the past 12 days and failed to leave a message on the answering machine.

Received call from this number, caller id said toll free, I let answering machine pickup, they hung up.  I tried calling it back got a busy signal. I live in TN too.

ask for husband, he answered caller hung up. happens at least twice a week.

I also, just received a call (8:30am) from this phone number  (800-609-0210). I also live in TN. The same request from the same person. Seems like a total scam!!!! Please  be aware and alert. This guy is up to no good!!

No message left. Hung up as soon as recorder answered.

This is one of those bogus "Police Benevolent Fund" scams.  If you ever do get a real person on the line, they will ask for donations to the fund.  If you refuse, they will get hostile and attempt to make you feel guilty for not donating.  >>Don't fall for it.<<  These are bogus, barely legal organizations that have NO affiliation with real police.

We also live in Tennessee.  Caller ID display showed "TOLLFREE NUMBER."  We have received calls from this number before.
The caller phoned at 5:15pm (2/27/2008) and my wife answered the phone.  A man, speaking in a "fake French accent," asked for me by name.  Wife said the caller spoke arrogantly, and sounded like he was pretending to be foreign.  When she told him I was busy, he said, "We call back!" and hung up.

I got the same dude, and i told him he was breaaking the law calling me as i was on the National DO NOT CALL LIST. This is a scam, I asked my local police Chief and he said If i wanted to donate some money not to do it over the phone. DUH!

Nobody every speaks.  Wonder if this is nothing more than a computer generated search for numbers.

Called at 7:10 PM. I answered; they hung up.
