They have been calling me for years.  They have a phone number that starts with a 'V' and it changes each call I get from them.  I asked one guy if he thought I was stupid and he actually said "yes".  Now I use a megaphone that has a built in siren which is quite loud when I know it's them.  A whistle would work too.  They don't give up.

First it was a lady asking if I had made purchases on my microsoft computer and i explained to her that there are two which one can I have the IP address so i know which one was used, she could answer me. I then stated well i'm not home to sit in front of my computer and I'll go home and run my security software Norton to make sure its up to date as I do every day. However she then asked is your computer running slower than normal, I stated No they are not. She said I'll call back in a hour when your home, needless to say an Indian accent man called back twice today

Got ten call from saying they MSoft.

I just got a call from Jeff. I called him a liar and a few other choice words and hung up on him when he told me that my computer was in jeopardy. He had the nerve to call me back so that he could fix my computer. He claimed someone is downloading from my computer and wanted to give me directions on how to stop it. I believe he was going to give me something to type in my computer to steal information. He would be  very disappointed to get phonics files!

(800) 642-7676 calls my phone weekly, up to 3x a week. They were added to an auto drop call list. It is a feature I use on my cell phone. I also report each and every call to the FTC even if they don't do anything about it.

Guy calling to fix my computer from Microsoft

I've been receiving calls from this number. I have them on my blocked list but I know they are scammers.

Stop calls I  not interested.

Just got a call from them today, said they were notified by my e-mail provider (Verizon) that someone in the past 2 days has been trying to hack into my e-mail account.  Caller had an Indian accent.  I told him I was getting dinner on the table and couldn't stay on the line, and he said he'd call me back later.  Not sure now if I should answer when he calls back, if this could be a scam.

Scam/fake microsoft number

After seeing so many posts about the Microsoft scam with this # over the years, isn't it about time that the FTC put these scams away? Even if the scam is across the pond? These calls stopped for awhile then started up this week. Be kind to your friends and neighbors and let them know about scams even if it scares them because they may get more freaked out if they become a victim.

Tired of these people calling. Have anon call blocking too. They have figured out how to get around it. I am putting in the name that came up on caller id but fought it is a legit name

Just got a call from800-642-7676. I looked number up and it is a scam

This number calls 3 times a day.  I answer and say hello three times and no one there or I get a recording that says good bye.  Totally a hoax hope they rot in HELL.

This number has called me four times now in the last few days. I don't answer calls I don't recognize. Caller never leaves message.

I am getting scam calls from 800 6427676 I get calls 2/3 times a day for a month. I even told them to stop calling as it is a scam. They want to go into my computer to help as there is a bug
