Got the same type of call....when i called back they asked me for my name and i wouldn't give them any information. The lady on the line got mad said "Good Luck" and hung up. I have gotten calls like this before they try to scare you with threats. TOTAL SCAM

This guy called 3 times that I know of as of today and who knows if he'll stop calling but along with what everyone else is saying the location says it's for a condo complex.  He didn't leave a name or any other info.  Very aggravating that this guy can't go get a real job and actually WORK for a living instead of trying to rip people off!

I received a voice mail Ness age from the above stated firm stating exactly what the above claims say and for sure a scam. When being served in any capacity someone just shows up and serves you, they don't give you a heads up !!!!

A man calling himself Jeremy Stein says something about a returned item to someone's checking account - however Jeremy did not give a name. I looked up the number on the web and it seems that the number is for a collection agency. The message was left on our office's main number, so if he wanted one of us to call him back, he would have mentioned somebody's name.

SAME!! Had my identity stolen YEARS ago and I get harassed by these calls every few months!

Same thing as above. I called the number back though because I want the calls to stop at my parents house.  And the number just sends me on a loop and then disconnected. So then I got online and I found all this. By the way do a search for Hawthorn Redman Mediation and you will find so many other numbers that are no longer in service tied to them.

This must be a scam!! Got the same as everybody else seems to be getting. They just keep calling back with messages. Not person ever on the phone. In my case they said I had an item returned from my bank. I haven't had an NSF since the mid 1970's. Shows you how old I am. Wish I knew who to report this to.

Received calls two days in a row from this number, purporting to be a mediation team represented by Jeremy Stein and concerning a returned item on a checking account, although the recording never said WHOSE account.

It says that I can consider myself legally notified. This is a male voice recording. I recognize getting this same message with the same voice about a year or so ago on the same phone. The same thing. My phone is a Federal Government work phone. Let him come after me. Of course he doesn't even know who I am. No doubt that this is a scam.

Yes exactly the same message from a Jeremy Stein from (800) 656-5692 and of course the message is "blank" when they want to say my name being legally served. Calling back is a voice recording for Hawthorne-Redman Mediation and haven't been getting anyone "live" to give a piece of my mind. I don't have debt issues in any way.

if this is a legit collection agency they violated the FDCPA. Save your messages and talk to a lawyer maybe. If it is a collection agency they left a very detailed message regarding what the call was and that is a violation. I work for a collection agency and I know my rights. It sounds like a scam to me. When a rep answers they identify themselves as Legal Outsourcing

I hear you I've gotten several calls like this threatening you in different ways just be careful and pay close attention to the way these idiotic callers act and you should be able to tell if it's a scam

i have been receiving these exact same messages from the same number. When I called back (after blocking my number) a fax machine answers the call... No name given on whom they are looking for, no name of the "law office", nor do they leave a case number. If it's so important wouldn't that be info a professional would leave...

I am a legal debt collector, skip tracer, process server, repoman... Pisses me off dirty non professional illegal tactics are used.  So I'm giving back to you guys.  Considering I just received a call myself with the same number.  Reversed the number , got there website, ran a trace on the website and here is the owner of there website cwealth.org. (Operating as Hawthorne Redmond Mediation).

Every couple of days i get these phone calls with all kinds of threats. I hope people don't fall for their scare tactics. Ask them questions. Like what attorney they  calling on behalf of. Their web address. Dont ever give these low lifes cc info
