Unwanted row call claim for debt collection.Thanks to public media I knew it was a scam when I heard it. I will tell all my friends . Number from call 800656 9308 at 8:10 am.

Scam !!! Debt Collector try to collect ...

Damn spammer debt collectors trying to squeeze money out of someone who used to live here long ago. Filed a complaint with FCC online and filing another. Enhanced Recovery calling under a new 800 number

Debt collectors don't have any way of knowing when someone changes their phone number. We've had our number for almost three years, and occasionally we still receive calls from people who apparently had the number in the past. Initially we were getting a lot of those calls. Just politely tell them that person no longer has the number, and eventually the calls will taper off and cease.

I have had this same number for almost 25 years. This has nothing to do with calling the person that had the number before me. Total scam. We don't owe anybody, anything. I told them to sue me. They hung up.

Harassing calls

Just curious. If you have never talked to them how were you able to gather so much info about them?
There was a call on our office line from this number this morning before I was even out of bed. I did not answer, as it is generally our policy to not answer toll free calls which are unfamiliar.

This is the third location we've been at in the past 20 years at which we've received calls for up to three years from people (apparently debt collectors) trying to reach people who previously had our phone number. Even when you tell them that the person no longer has that number they generally keep trying for up to six more months or so.

Now blocked

Calling business phone and leaving messages about being debt collector .. does not leave who they are "looking for"

I received called repeatedly in the same morning. Caller not speak any word and keep quite for 3 second then line disconnected,  When I asked and the line not even speak a word.

Calls and says have debt.  We owe no one.

Im on the don't call list and the idiots are calling just got this number and they are looking for a bs person calling at 830 in the morning totally e-legal and i called them to warn them they will be dealt with by the fbi or secret service they said they will take me off the list, i hope so for them.

Threatening my mother that knows a debt! She was scared to death by the way they spoke to her and asked her for her social. STOP THIS!!

Called me hundreds of times must invest in another 2 bucks to block these bottom feeding demons they dont take no for an answer I dont owe these people my name is not Carter and if are laws were to protect us this would stop, but the politicians take so much money from these idiots they get away with calling and harassing the elderly and hospice  patients I now put the wrath of GOD on this company REC to stop them in there tracks thank you Jesus for the block power, god bless the good, Amen

Computer call leaves message every day claiming we owe a debt (we don't) asking we call them back and use a "reference number".

Point one, We have NO debts.
Point Two: Collection Agencies send LETTERS first. This is clearly a scam.

They call at least once a day sometimes more.  Always go to VM and never leave a message...
