    Tell them to send a letter about the bill you allegedly owe and hang up. Block them on your phone and eventually they go away.

    Called at 8 am on the dot only to let it ring and hang up before it got to voice mail. If no business name shows up on the screen, I always Google the telephone number. Collector for me, I think not.
