- BloatWhen I cancelled my card I reported this site to be a scam, but they did say as it was a subscription then it might carry over to my new card. Fortunately I just received a letter from my bank telling me that any charges they see on my card from this scam will be returned to the bank they came from and will be asked not to send any more charges. So good news, hope everyone else's bank is as efficient as mine (HSBC, deserve a plug for this).
- t replies to feeling stupid!| 1 replyBILLINGHLP.COM PALMA DE MALL
$25.41 EUR @ 1.628099
Just received a third payment taken from my account. After I was charged the 35 dollars i contacted directfileaccess and said that they could not cancel the membership i had to click on the link which doesn't work same with the phone numbers. Looks like billinghlp.com is the new scam - AnnI wasn't called, but a $113.00 bill for "foreign currancy" was entered on my credit card. I have no intentions of using foreign currancy for anything, and have no use for that bill. Now I need to get a new credit card and change everything that was charged on this one. What a hassle.
Hope this can be stopped this soon! - C replies to victimI canceled an order (directfileaccess)...but will it be stopped like that $40 thing?
- DianaThis is such a scam. Cancel your credit card immediately because they will not respond to you, they will not refund your money, they'll just keep charging you. I had one over payment of the first $4.95 and knew I was probably screwed. I contacted them, received no response, and a month later was charged again by a slightly different company. I now have to have my card canceled and the bank is doing an "investigation" before they refund my money. I don't know what type of investigation they do, but as long as I don't get charged again, I can live with it. The site was (for me too) fullreleases.com and the first two charges came from "BILLINGSVC.COM 2063579 US8006579" ($4.95, which I authorized, and $29.27 which I DIDN'T) and the second from "BILLINGHLP.COM PALMA DE" ($29.45). I don't see why they aren't shut down yet. Someone owns the site and has a static IP address and is charging us every time. It just doesn't seem like it should be that difficult with today's technology.

I'm also with Barclaycard, and my card got debited for £5.21, then £31.54. They are refunding the larger payment, but say that the transaction has been set up as a continuous subscription ie regular payment. They are raising a query with the merchant (for which I paid £5) but did not recommend cancelling the card at the moment - as you say, the payments would just be transferred to the new card.
I told them this appeared to be a scam, and that I had seen quite a few similar cases on the internet, but they didn't seem too interested - Iwas hoping they would transfer me to their Fraud Department. If I can't resolve this through Customer Service, I will contact their Fraud Deprtment myself.
Best of luck - StanleyI signed up for software for 4.95 and upon gaining access found that non of it worked and sent them an email canceling and wanting my 4.95 back. A few days later I was charged 4.81 and then charged 29.12 the day after that.I tried calling them but, no one answered and their automated service didn't recognize any of the info they gave me. I found out later on that they opened up two accounts without my permission. I notified my bank and they issued me temporary credit for this and all subsequent charges.
- diana replies to SkeltIt finally seems I have escaped directfileaccess.com
I found a url that seemed to do the trick. Log in and go to this site: http://www.directfileaccess.com/deleteme.php
After I had entered my info submitted it, my account appeared to be deleted. I can't log in anymore. I hope this is finally it. *crosses fingers* - jauhan| 1 replyi am in Mauritius and was also scammed by www.fullreleases.com through billingsvc.com. i was charged EUR 3.13 on 30.4.08, then EUR 18.96 on 2.4.08, then EUR 18.98 on 2.5.08 and lastly EUR 18.28 on 2.6.08. i was seduced by the one life time fee which never was the case. its a big fraud. - donniemac replies to jauhanJauhan, call your bank and have them dispute the charges. I have already done this with a positive result. Also go to www.billingsvc.com and cancel your subscription. Do the same at www.paymentforge.com. They are all connected.

- computers19 replies to DethlorI also fell for their $4.95 one time fee. A week later I got billed $4.95 and $29.69. I also went over my limit with that scam and got charged an extra $29. My company fixed it and I tried contacting them and I never got a reply. I sent numerous complaints and told them to cancel my service. A month later I got billed $29.26 from billingsvc.com. I also went over my limit again and got charged $29. I sent more complaints and after the third attempt I cancelled the worthless account. I will never give out my account# to a site with a bogus one time fee. I was basically charged 125$ for a lousy download that didn't work at all. My advice is DON'T TRUST THIS SITE AT ALL THEIR WEBSITE IS FULL OF LIES.
- anonOk, this is what happened to me. I was at my computer and this VIRUS ALERT pops up and then WinSpywareProtect pops up. So we purchased this on line with our credit card, but the deal is we just purchased the 39.95 USD but they charged us 95.05 and then a Foreign amount for 2.85. We immediately cancelled our credit card. Turned this in to the BBB.
The number they had on the print out was 800-467-1077. They must be working overtime if they are calling people to. The same thing happens to us when we tried to call you will be on hold for a long time and then they will put you to a women's voicemail. Its a SCAM!- Caller: WinSpyWare Protect
- anon replies to feeling stupid!Have you contacted the BBB. That is what I did. I am sure you have contacted your bank. Goodluck they are scammers!!!
- LesI have had the same with fullreleases and billingsvc I am getting really fed up with the unauthorised payments - the bank said the only way of stopping them is to close the bank account I have held for 25 years+ and open a new one ;-(

- idkfaEveryone else here has had it easy. I was lured in for the '$4.95' offer at directfileaccess.com. They initially charged me AU$6.83, then seconds afterward, they completely cleaned out my account - for a total of approximately AU$1,750. Transaction shows 'Billnghelp.com PALMA DE MALL'.
After cancelling my card, disputing the transaction and giving my bank as much info as possible, I've also alerted appoximately 7 different anti-fraud and high-tech crime investigation units world wide, investigations are currently in progress. I will have my money back.
If anyone else is stung by these [***], the first and most important thing you should do is call your bank, cancel your card, get a replacement and dispute the transaction - do *not* delay it, as they will not go away.
Give your computer a decent spyware scan too - there's a chance there was a 'security certificate' (trojan) you had to install before entering your card details.- Caller: directfileaccess - billnghelp.com
- Kurt replies to Ron| 1 replyCANCEL YOUR CARD.
I researched it all over the internet and contacted many people who deal with credit card scams.
Conclusion: They can just keep taking money out until you cancel it or block it. - ashleyhappened here in oklahoma, my husband payed for the $4.95 on june 19th and on june 21 there was a debt for $0.30 then the next day for like @29.51. we went to the bank and the cancled the card and gave us new ones but i guess by the looks of this page they've made some damn good money off of all of us!
