got 4 calls yesterday, all missed calls on my cellphone... at 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 6pm.

again it has started today at 10:45am...

As for people wondering about dead air at the end of the line when they answer, what happens is the calls are done by dialer (the computer does the calling, not the actual agent), and they usually only connect after a few seconds. (I work in an outbound sales department for Bell Canada residential services)
Or sometimes, the agent who gets the call that dials you forgets to remove their mute (I've done it before myself)

They called and it left a musical message on the voicemail.I call them back and the guy explains to me that it was problably at marketing and instead of "flushing" the calls since they had alot;the guy decided to put mine on hold and the music from the "on hold"  ended up on the voicemail.

They keep calling me as well, thing is, neither of the people in my household have Bell phones.... both with Rogers, we dont even get Bell reception in this area, very annoying!!!!

I have received numerous call from this number and I am not sure if it is the same person who has been harassing me or if it is a company -- the next call or complaint I make will be to the police

I just got off the phone with bell ,  they do not have this number in thier in house directory ,  &
they will understand if you dont trust a recived call .  simply call you local *611 , and ask for accounts . they will be more than happy to confirm status of your account .
If Bell calls you , they don not need you to provide much to confirm who you are , when they call your cell , cuz well your are holding the phone rite .

the agent said if even in question as to the identity of the inbound call , simply ask them for their department , and call *611 , and ask for that department . simple.

i get all my QA stuff via sms , and call from my actual local store .  

this seems to be a generic  call center switch board server # ,  probably trying to get a percentage of any thing you agree to or much worse . seems they do more than just Bell .

i have call-blocked this number. so it won;t even ring anymore.
my account is in good standing , just got a new BB torch , and have check with bell CS , and AR there is no issues that would prompt them to actually call me .
my local store texted me to see how we liked the new phone , and that's it ..

I didnt get a call from this number but another one claiming to be bell mobility accounts receivable. That number was 1800 361 2613. Whats the difference. They asked me to confirm my birthdate which i did then they told me how much i owed and asked how i planned on paying. I told them when and how i would pay. I think i should call their 611 number to find out for sure as it is worrying me now. I didnt even think twice earlier as they called about 5 hours earlier that i didnt answer and checked on google who was calling from that number and it came back as bell mobility but i only briefly glanced at a few comments now that i read this thread and the other more in depth it is worrying me. Good thing it was only my birthdate they asked for. Although even that is making me anxious as i dont see a reason for bell having my birthdate unless they took it off my drivers license when i signed up.

This number is from Bell Mobility and it isn't always horrible receiving this call, it can actually be useful. I am a Bell customer and I am on a credit limited contract, which means I have a credit of $XXX.XX amount and they will call me from this number to let me know that I am getting close to the limit. So long storing short, if you have a credit cap and everything still works on your phone then chances are they are just giving you a courtesy call, which I think thats awesome as I forget everything!

You are quite disrespectful for a Bell employee. I bet if we reported you then you would no longer be a Bell employee now would you.

Received a call and voicemail from this number this morning - the message was a recording which stated that they were calling from Bell Mobility and needed to speak with me right away and left a number to call back. I called Bell directly instead (at *611) and they checked my file and saw no notes and no evidence in my file that would require anyone from Bell to contact me - seems pretty fraudulent to me.

I just got a call from this number. They left a message saying it was Bell mobility and it was all in french... I  don't have an account of any kind with Bell... I only have a cell phone and its with Telus... It's obviously someone making it show as a different number on caller id's. Clever buggers... actually doing research and having it show as Bell and them leaving a Bell related message... So you will hit blogs like this that will say it is a Bell number that can be found on their site, etc, etc, etc and people will answer and feel comfortable giving out info. Do as one fellow said; get generic info confirmed first and if they won't do it say YOU"LL CALL THEM to talk about the issue and call a Bell number from their site or go to a store.
