- KarenAm with Bell, received a call from them earlier today. No one was talking on the other end of the line, but I could hear vague sounds in the background. Despite me saying "Hello" multiple times no one responded so I hung up
- LlewWho are these folks? Display said call was from America. Aren't all 800 calls originating in America?

- Fooled"Mike" agent # 0427 from Bell called around 6pm to advise that there was going to be a planned outage in my area for approx 24 hrs and to expect dropped calls. He said they would take off a certain dollar amount per hour that the outage occured. He asked to verify my account (who actually belongs to my husband), details such as DOB, address and postal code. He then provided me a confirmation number and said that when we got the Bell bill to call back and quote this number to receive the discount. So we got the Bell bill and my husband called, the real Bell CSR laughed and he said he had never heard of this and their agent ID's are at least 9 characters. Not sure what they were after but there is no CC info associated with our Bell acct
- Caller: "Bell"
- SamPeople SHOULD NOT answer to calls from numbers that are not in their address book or contact list. especially 800 numbers. If your phone (and phone provider) can block those numbers (for free) do so!

- BC Resident| 1 replyCaller left voice message. A pre-recorded message was left saying it was Bell Canada, and then another man's voice stated my phone number in a way that made me believe he was trying to simulate the sound of a pre-recorded/automated voice. The message claimed my phone number would be disconnected as per our request, on a specified date. No such request made, and they don't make calls like that.
