Called @ 1045. Caller ID= TOLL FREE CALL. Decided to press #1 for laughs. Of course I got a guy in a "boiler room" in downtown Mumbai, or wherever. When I asked for his company name, all I got was "Visa and Mastercard". When I asked for street address, he wanted to know why? I said he was in violation of the "Florida Do Not Call" list and someone might want to pay him a visit. Like other folks on this site, I figured as long as he was talking to me, he wasn't scamming someone else.

We got a call from this number today at 10:08 am. The caller ID was SEARSCREDITCARDS, and it was blocked by our call blocker. All calls from area code 800 are blocked. Thanks to all who posted information about these apparent scammers.

hmmmm I got a call from "Sears Credit Card" also ... didn't Sears go out of business or are going out of business? I haven't had a Sears card in over 20 years.  Definitely a Scam.

This number calls constantly and has been doing so for years. It used to be for lowering credit card debt robocall and when you call back its6 a Sears answering machine which they must be aware of by now. I blocked the number but they have started calling again, even though I have it blocked.

Caller ID says "TOLL FREE CALL".  Left no message.

It is not a legit number for Sears/Citibank.  No one calls you and asks for your full acct# and social security number.  Scammers.  I called Citi and they verified it is scammers.  I must say they are very slick.

Claimed to be Sears. Asked for my Sears credit catd number or Social Security number!!!!! Yokes!!!!

They wanted my social security number to pull up my account. First time I called them I did the automated and punched in my social security but added extra numbers at the end when I realized I shouldn't have

Call came in from an unknown number.  No message was left and I refused to answer it.  Glad I came here to see 18 pages of complaints.  # now blocked.

Once again, called, I didn't answer, no msg left.

Stupid person called and asked for my ss #.  Yeah, right!!!!!  Like I am going to give it to you.

Another "Card Member Services lower your credit card interest rates...."BS scam and just one of hundreds of spoofed telephone numbers they use. Told the man with a heavy Indian accent that I know he is not employed by Card Member services and is just trying to get confidential personal and credit card information. He began to use very foul language at which time I told him he needed to get a real job, some morals and integrity and to stop trying to scam individuals. He hung and I blocked this number. So sick of these fraudsters!

Well, at least for once the caller ID was HONEST -- it said "Robocaller"!  I let the machine pick up but no message was left.  Really, these people have no shame -- it's a week before Christmas Eve and people are busy and this is just a complete waste of their precious time
