500-688-7070 calls me almost daily and never leaves a message. How do I stop it?

It's the First National Bank of Omaha trying to sell cardholders cc protection and other service products.  I have an account with them and have them calling me many times.  I have caller ID and ignore them.

When "Googling" this number, it seems to be associated with more than one bank.  That sounds suspicious, but maybe several banks use one call center? I got four hang up calls from them last night, one at 8pm.  I've turned my ringer off until the calls stop.

I don't need anymore credit cards.  Whatever they're selling, I'm not buying it.  And yes, there IS such a thing as caller ID spoofing as another poster wondered.  It COULD be a phishing scam making it appear as if the calls are coming from that number.  I wouldn't answer it! I don't recognize any of the banks associated as someone I do business with.  So it is a violation of DNC list.  

Also, this 800# looks vaguely familiar...I think they have called me in the past earlier this year or last year.  "Only" called 3 times in one whole week that time...

Received several hang up calls from them.  In my opinion, no legit company would show "Unknown Name" on the caller ID or use a fake one.  From reading the posts here and on other Google hits, it sounds like a scam.

phone calls hang up before it goes to the answering machine. Call at all hours.

Calls early morning, hangs up on my answering machine, Caller ID says Unavailable and the number 800-688-7070. I don't answer.

Just an FYI!!!!   The number you have listed as 800-688-7070  is not linked to First National Bank of Omaha. I understand that when you call the number it does switch you over to the Frist National Bank of Omaha phone que.  However this is not a number that is associated with this bank.  It is FRAUD!  DO NOT ANSWER THE CALL!  It is a company that calls out and they have a number that is linked to back then to diffrent Automative Systems.  It is some type of company that is trying to get your infomation Don't fall for it!

Had 3 calls today alone, answered the last one out of anger. The female caller asked how my First Bank Card was doing for me then launched into her spiel about cc insurance. I told her no thanks, she continued, I interrupted and said no thanks, several times, each time getting more annoyed and finally hung up and came here. I did what another poster suggested and emailed them to remove my phone number from their telemarketing list. NEVER give personal info over the phone, banks should know better than having their telemarketing ask for anything personal. The fact that caller id says Unknown Name speaks volumes. If it's First National Bank of Omaha calling it should show that. This website is GREAT!!! Thanks everyone for pulling together to put a stop to this harassment.

I have got a phone call from this number today. They said they wanted to send me some information about Secure Credit Debt Solutions...affiliated with First National Bank of Omaha.  I said they could send me info but I was not buying anything.  The man then preceeded to tell me he had to "by law" read me something.  I listened for a minute and then stopped him and asked if you are sending something ONLY then why do you need to "by law" read me something. I hung up on him. He had said his name was Greg Richards.  

I then called First National bank which stated they are afilliated with that program. She told me that it sounded like he signed me up. She gave me a number to call so I could make sure I was not signed up.

She had given me 1-800 554 0091, which is Central States Indemnity. That was what I was told. He said he had to fill out a form to make sure this had not happened and that it would be canceled if it was. I asked because the man said he had to read something "by law" does that generally mean that I was signed up...he would not say yes...but said, that is why we are filling out this form to stop it from being activated. So basically he said... Yes. I am so angry. What else can I do?? I will never even pick up another phone call I do not know!!!!!

They have called us several times in the past few days, so finally tonight, I answered.  They wanted to speak to my wife and I asked what the call was in regards to, and he told me it was a courtesy call.
I asked if it was a sales call and he told me it was a courtesy call and because my wife was primary, they could speak only to her, so I put him on speakerphone, and told him to go ahead.  He then said "There seems to be a lack of communication here, we'll call back when its more convenient" and hung up.
My advice..PUT THEM ON SPEAKERPHONE and they'll hang up...

I do have a credit card through The First National Bank of Omaha, but the account is current, I owe no money. Probably just want to sell me something, so that I spend more =0). Tired of the calls. Too many this week, at least daily. But I don't pick up when they do identify themselves.

Maybe we should not answer any number that ID's itself as unknown name?

I called the # and the message said "welcome to card member services,press one blah blah blah". After pressing one it immediately asked for the last four digits of my SSN at which point i hung up. Probably legit but i'm doing just fine w/o their services.

this week it started..3 calls in 4 days.. 4:41 December 7th, 3:16pm December 8th, and 11:15am December 10th, i pick up the phone every time..and with one min of realizing im not who they want..they hang up..next time its on over the phone..

I called the number back and this is a company called Card Member Services,they handle credit card services and billing for many companies.
Annoying yes, phishing scam no but if you call and ask them,they will put you on their do not call list.

I've had a card with First National of Omaha for several years, and usually get a call from them about once a month from this number. The irritating thing is, I put this number on my "Blocked List" in Call Screening and they've gotten through at least 2 times now, that I know. So it appears they may have learned a way to defeat my call Screening! That makes me think they are calling from another number, Which just sounds like another scam to me!

Calls all hours every day do not want the calls

Leaves no Message.  Tele. Id was as noted with two (2) 1's versus only one.  When I called back using only one "1" a machine answered as "Cardmember Services".  I contacted Cardmember Services with whom I have an account and they did not recognize the phone number.  They did say that there are several Cardmember Services and could be associated with another Financial institution.

Phone call from this number several times a day.  When you answer the phone, sounds like it is automated and immediately hangs up.  

I want this stopped! It has become very annoying and is an invasion of my privacy!!
