- jose jiminezgot call from 800-688-7070 just before 9 pm. did not answer the call. later, perhaps at 10 pm i called them and their recording mentioned card services and wanted last 4 digits of my ss number and i gave it. then asked for my 16 digit credit card number and i did not give it because i have no account with the bank that google said the 800 number belonged to. i will call the number i have for my cc company tomorrow and see if tonight's call was legit. i have had promo calls from cc company before but never at night.
- Caller: really not sure
- FaithIf this really is the First National Bank of Omaha or whatever, for me it would be legitimate since it's the bank that owns my credit card with the credit union. I think they have called me before years ago (Caller ID history only saves the last 50 calls), and I never answered then. They are probably trying to sell me their credit monitoring service.
So far, only one hang up call from them yesterday. In the past, they never left a message at all, not even a recorded one. I just ignore it or turn my ringer off.

- johanna sotothey keep calling me. please stop it.
- JimmyJETZThis works - you need to get a FAX number for the company responsible for calling you. Then print out as many pages with all black color on them and a cover page. I pt my full name and the phine number I am receiving the calls on the cover page and ask them to remove me from their list. I send 40 pages each time they call. Can you imagine how long that ties up their machine and the pages being black uses up their toner which is expensive. Good luck!! Be sure and follow through each time.

- dI received a call yesterday and I let the call go to voicemail. They left no message. I called them back and their outgoing message asked if I was an existing customer would I like to transfer funds, increase my credit limit, make a payment or close the account. They did not identify the name of their company. Anyway, I selected close my account. They wanted the last four digits of my SS number and my credit card number. I entered ficticious numbers and was being transferred to a representative. I hung up cause I didn't want to talk to anyone. Wow. They must accept any numbers you enter. They call again today and I just let it go to voicemail.

- AllenI get these too. It most likely IS First National Bank of Omaha because this company handles credit cards for many other banks. Since you likely have their credit card, they do legally have the right to call you, even if you are on DO NOT CALL LIST. They are also VERY active at telemarketing.
I recommend that you log into your credit card account which is likely here:
http://www.directcardaccess.com
And send them a message saying that you want to be added to their DO NOT CALL list. Do not block their number, because if there is a genuine problem with your credit card, you want them to be able to get a hold of you.- Caller: First National Bank of Omaha
