I've been getting these calls also.  I recently got a credit card with First National Bank.  So now that I know this number is associated with them I will be careful not to pick up.  I don't want any extras with my card. They've been calling about 3 or 4 times a week.  They never leave a message.

This person has  has called my number again and again.
Whoever it is hangs up on my answering machine.
I believe that this kind of caller is a "Stalker Caller".
It is too bad that the Police do not have a department to handle these kind of calls.

I agree. 800-688-7070 is NOT the true number this call is coming from. I have a service that blocks calls based on the number and it does not block this one.
I wish the police could investigate this caller and then prosecute him or her or them for "Stalking" all of these people.

This number is phoney. What you see on your caller ID is not the number the call is coming from!
Perhaps if enough of us would call the PolIce they would put a Police trap on some lines and arrest the people who are responsible for this, "Stalking", of so many people.

I checked the Internet for infornation and found that Congress has passed the "Truth In Caller ID Act 2010", this month. The President should sign it later this year.
After that, 800-688-7070 will be in violation of Federal Law.
Maybe these people can be hunted down and put in prison.

This number called me again, today. I answered and the woman caller claimed that she was calling from The First National Bank of Omaha. I didn't tell her that her call had gotten past my service, and that I knew that the number on the caller ID was a fake. It is likely that she did not know that fact either. I simply told her that I was not interested in the service that she was selling. I believe that the company she is working  for will simply give my number to another "trainee" and the harassment will go on until the, "Truth In Caller ID Act 2010", is signed into law.

I just received a call from this number and they didn't leave a message or even say hello when I picked up the phone.  Wouldn't dream of giving out any personal info in this day and age.  Too easy to get to get taken advantage of with the economy what it is these days.

Would love to block this caller, but our phone company (Frontier Communications) won't block any calls unless they happen to come within the same area code as us.  Hmm....might be time to cut them loose too.

There's got to be some website or other where you can report calls like these.  Maybe then we'll have a way to put these losers away for good!

You idiots, it is not a "phishing" but simply tele-marketing. They are simply selling credit protection, which is a "legal" scam, but not trying to scam you. Most banks probably contract with tele-marketers outside of the bank to sell their credit protection. I received a call from this number and have an account with FNB of Omaha. Companies you do business with ARE ALLOWED to contact you by phone. You can always ask to be removed, but get smarter...

7-800-688-7070 is a phishing scam. I called Wells Fargo and verified this.

I have gotten 12 calls from this number in the past 3 days!!  I have saved the number to my callblock list so that my phone only rings once when this number calls. I'm so glad my Panasonic Dect 6.0 series phone has this feature!!!

rcvd call from 8006887070 at 12:21pm EST and when I answered the other line disconnected. I'll register their number as a complaint

calls pretty much every morning, i just pick up and hang up, don't even answer it.  I am just sick of it wakig me up every morning.

800-688-7070 calls and hangs up.  probably skippers or scammers or some combination of the 2.  if  i don't recognize the number and they don't leave a message then i don't answer the phone and i don't call them back.  www.donotcall.gov

alot of them are false voip numbers, and yeah...what you see is not always what you get!

800-688-7070 called me to.  says they are card services. reported them to www.donotcall.gov robo calls are illegal.

i just got this number call me 4 minutes ago.
It was just someone laughing and said [***] you before hanging up

Getting annoying calls on a constant basis ,If the anserwing machine takes the message ,they hang up, If i answer the phone they hang up these representatives are ignorant, unprofessional , and don't even speak to the people who answer the phone, Please remove my phone number from these ignorant telemarketers, and remove my account from future calls thank you Mr. Haduck
