Received a recorded call at 3:08 a.m. stating that my account with RTE Federal Credit Union has been locked and to call immediately.  I do not have an account with RTN FCU but called the number and got a recording asking for my account number.  
The number on caller ID was a local number 781-736-9999 and when I called this number I got a recording asking me to leave voicemail.

Got a similar call at 4.45 am in morning. When I called the number the recording asked for me to enter a 16 digit number. Of course I did not put it in - it felt like a scam. I also am in the 781 area code.

Got the exact same call at 1:52am last night, stating that my account with RTN Fed Credit Union had been locked and asking to call back immediately at 800-691-8323. The number on caller ID showed as 781-736-9999 as well and name showed as RTN FED CREDIT. I did not call back as this sounded like a complete scam. The Credit Union usually uses a different way to contact their customers. I checked the 800 number on the web and it was listed as a "suspicious" number

Traced the number back to a scavenger collection company that buys really old rite-offs and tries to collect the old debt by implying that criminal charges are about to be filed

Got a call and the person left a message stating the lady name was Mrs. Tony Civil Claims Coordinator for Depository Check Fraud from Green Tree Financial services. She claimed she has a claim against me.

Got a call from the number indicating indicating his name was Robert Love and he was calling about Depository Check Fraud from Granger Financial Services claimant there was a file ready to be charged and I could call back and speak to a judge..... Are you freaking kidding me?  These people are nuts but I guess there are some people out there that would fall for such a scam.... they are nothing but vultures....

Got a similar call today from some woman who did not mention any names but said a claim had been filed against the social security number for fraudulent actions and I had to call 800-691-8323 and give testimony to prevent further action.

Since my identity was stolen and my credit report was hacked several months ago, I have been getting a call like this on average of once a week.  I have refused to phone the number back since this smells like a bill collector or a scam of some sort.

I received a very similar call today. I called the number and got the information of the company I supposedly owed money to.  I called them and shocking! I did not owe them anything. I wish we could do something about these types of companies!

Miss Tony says that there has been a claim filed against me of fraudulant activity and threatened legal action.  What is this?

I received a phone call today from this number.  They asked if this was .....(blocked on the phone) and then said if this wasn't .....(blocked on the phone).  How convenient that my name was not able to be heard.  You could hear them press hold or some sort of button that made it sound like my answering machine was having static.  The they said and affidavate of Complaint was filed against my Social Security number for potential fraudulent activity and that they needed my testimony  to offset any legal action against me.   I call the 800-691-8323 that they left at 9PM hoping to just get an answering machine.  They called themselfs GFS but I was never transfered to an answering machine so I hung up in case I would be charged for the minutes on this call even though it is an 800 number.

I plan to call them tomorrow and as for the address where I can come in person to give them my information.  I doubt I will get an address but then I plan on letting them know I will come to there office but I am bringing the police and an attorney with me!  "How's that work for you?"  Lets see what they do with that info.

I may be old but I am definately not stupid.

Received the same call today. A Ms Tony called and asked for me When I asked her what it was about she said something about a complaint against my SS# for fraudlent activity.
What a joke It is a scam Do not give them any information.
Let them send you something in writing.

They called left a threatening message using a lot of legal words without actually making sense.  It's a fake and a scam.  Seems they can't proceed with some action unless I give them some money and additional personal information.  IGNORE that's the easiest way to deal with these lowlifes.

They called me at work today. I spoke to a Ms Tony from Greentree Financial. They said that I owed $$$ for a payday loan (Companies name was CASH YES).
I explained to her that I paid it back in 2009. She still I had a problem with something to do with fraud checks.
What do I do???
Are they a legimante company.
I couldn't find there webpage???
Please advise.

Sounds like another scam

soeone left a threatening message about an affadavidt

I just got a message on my answering machine also about an affidavit of my SS#.  To avoid legal action call them at 800-691-8323.  They said if this is ______ (no name) then if this is not ___________ (no name again) please hang up.  Then it started in about the affidavit of fraud against my SS#.

I just received the very same voicemail message, complete with my name not included (i.e. "if this is not (blank silence), please hang up.")
