800-695-9872

It was an automated account asking for a 16 digit number.  I finally got to a live person, to find out they were calling for my daughter.  Calling now on my credit cards because I put several of them in, not knowing which they were asking for. My daughter happen to google the number and found this website.

got a call from 800-695-9872.  Said they were from Wells Fargo.  I called my bank and confirmed that they made no such call.

Yup..... me too.  I'm in the 781 a/c.  Same deal - a British woman on my answering machine "not a sales call".  Called the 800 number and disconnected when they asked me for a 16 digit card number.

British accent state this is World Financial Network National Bank about a business matter.  They also stated this was not a sales call.  I called to see who it might be, used option 2 for english it kept asking for an account number - 16#'s long...did not input...message kept repeating...I hung up

I have been receiving calls from this number for weeks and they even have the nerve to leave a message for some Alberto Vasques, when clearly if you listen to my voicemail there is no Alberto Vasques associated with my number. I finally was able to get through to an Indian operator when I tried 0000000000000000 as the account number and just made up a social. I told him that they had the wrong number and to take me off their call list and that I am registered on the "Do Not Call" list and if they call me again I would report them to the FCC. He then asked for my name (which I refused to give him) and he told me they would take me off the list. That was just today, we'll see if the annoying calls stop.

This number called me, it was legit.
The name came up as unknown but they leave a number for you to call back.   It ended up being about my American Signature Furniture Credit card.

I just received a call from this number, I answered, it was an automated voice saying this is Wells Fargo Finacial, to speak about an urgent financial matter and to Call 18006959872. When I called the # i knew it wasn't wells fargo, and it requested my 16 digit account number. When I talked to someone they were very nervouse, couldn't tell me what company it was or what account # they wanted. I then hung up.

This experience was a big waste of time. You call them and they just ask for a 16 digit account number without telling you who they are! I decided to use 0000000000000000 as the account number, so I was able to talk to someone. They were calling for Buckles (who I don't have an account with). It was like pulling teeth getting that out of them. Then they wanted personal data. I gave them my name so that they could verify that I didn't have an account. I didn't give them any other information. The agent was pretty unfriendly, so I assume they are trying to collect. I will not get a credit card from any merchant who uses them as their bank.

I also got a call that asked me to call 800 695 9872. when i called back i put in all 0's for the account number 2 times and got an operator.  i did give my home phone and he said it was for a Buckle account.  He asked my name and it did not match what they had, he apologized and said they would not call again.  I guess i think it was legit, just had the wrong phone number.  They never asked for my soc or anything like that.
