This number has made a habit of calling 2-3 times a day for the past week or so.  When I called the number back it says "Thank you for calling American Debt Arbitration, we are currently out of the office, please call during normal business hours or call our...(I hung up about there)  Anyway never have called this company.  What's normal business hours?  They have called my home after 9:30 pm a couple of times.  We are on the donotcall registry, but still getting at least 8-10 telemarketing calls a day!

The message left on my machine was just a man saying my name a couple of times and hanging up.  When I call back, I get a fax machine.

No message left for me either, and when I called back, I too got a fax machine.

This number called my office phone at government job - they asked for "Anne" and then hung up.

Hi, There I had the same mysterious phone call at my government job as well they call me like 4 times a day it just starting like a week ago, and will not leave a message, I haven't called the number back because I figured it must not be important since they will not leave a message.

My answered when they called.  The lady was really rude to him. She never told him where she was from.  When he asked her, she said "I am sorry your daddy makes you do that.  He is a big boy now" and then she hung up.   When I tried to call it back, I got a fax.  That number has been on my caller id three times today and twice yesterday.  Today, I happened to be home the second time she called.  I said hello and she hung up.  How do you complain about this company?

I have this number on my caller id multiple times a day. I call the number back and it is a recording stating that the normal business hours from 10a-10p EST. No one ever answers. The number comes up 800-710-1309. I have yet to actually answer and get a human on the other end!

This phone number has called both my cell phone and my home phone numerous times and every time I try to call them back they say to call them back during "normal business hours."  I AM calling back during normal business hours.  This concerns me, though, because the message they are leaving me says they are called American Debt Arbitration.

This number called my work, refused a message, hung up on me. They've called multiple times, same situation.  I have no reason for any type of collection call, but they've been very persistent, so I assume it's a scam.

Got the same phone call today. Wasn't home but called the number back and got the same message saying their American Debt Arbitration and their office hours are between 10am-10pm EST. I immediately came to look up the company because debt arbitration can't be good. Found this site and now I feel better knowing it's probably a scam. Thanks to everyone who posted.

Same thing as above.  Three calls week, 1st nothing on the line when my wife answered.  Today the guy on the line asked for me, but I was at work.  He was very rude and hung up when he heard I was not here.

Based on the other postings, it looks like they've been busy this week.

Now I am sooo sick of this i have the same problem as above but i get this caller calling me at odd hours of the day about 10 times a day for the past 7 months this has been going on now i also have a caller ID but it seams that me being rude back to this jerk is not enough so if i ever find this person i am gonna beat his or her with his or her own phone. I am not making a threat I am making a promise cuz i am so sick of this. We are talking 2 or 3 am it seems not to matter what hours it is and they seem not to care about peoples sleep Well enough is enough Im gonna look into buying a tap on my phone that will give me the directions to their business so i can go in there and show them who NOT to call!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hmm Or I could do some internet searching for their address

ADA (American Debt Arbitration) is just that. They help people, who are over their heads with credit card debt, get out of debt and restore there credit rating. Lots of people are very happy with their service. I'm not sure what the deal with the phone number is though. I'll see what I can find out. Stay tuned.

Repeated calls with no one there.
Will report this number that is calling as a nuisance call
or harrassment call to the State Attorney office if this continues.

they call & ask for my husband & then hangup when I ask to take a message. They call several times a day. I looked up their number, found their name & went to the website. I know how they got my phone number. They are a partner with NATIONWIDE. That is my insurance company. I have homeowners as well as car insurance with them. Not happy, they say they don't "sell" my information, no, they give it away!

ADA... they try to sucker me into there get out of debt crap but i questioned them and they started to dodge them, or keep taking about the benefits of being with them. They not gonna sucker me into this crap, because i can handle my debt. Thanks for all that blogged because I did my research at BBB and they not on the books. Just go with someone else if you choose this kind of path. thanks

Is this a minimum wage employee required to make calls from a call center, just going through the motions to earn a dime?

A guy called the house.  I was not there.  He didn't want to leave a message.  Just said I had "racked up some credit cards".  I have not applied for any new cards or made any outlandish purchases.  I immediately thought someone had stolen my identity and was applying for credit in my name.  When I call back it's always a busy signal.  I am just starting my investigation but by reading the posts here I'm thinking it's a scam.
