- SLC Attorney replies to The Soundwave, INCI am an attorney, and Marc (Mark?) Barnes just called my clients asking for confidential financial information under the guise of representing a company that wanted to invest in or buy my client's company. He said he works for a George McKenzie at Greenberg, Grant & Richards in Houston, Texes. This is interstate fraud, which should be reported to the Texas AG. I
- I will gladly pay you on tuesday replies to rrmy brother owes me $50 bucks, I'm thinking about hiring them to handle it for me..... do you think they would consider a using a kidnapping threat, maybe kill some house hold pets. That might get him to pay me. Since GGR and Mark Barnes are down for breaking the law.....why not turn up the heat on these "deadbeats" that owe money. haha

Give me your home phone number and I will call you all the time with BS threats and lies and tricks and break the law and then you can put a postitve spin on it.......These scumbag "collectors" or "bullies" probably have a worse credit score than most of the debtors. - Marck Barnes replies to AnonymYup...This is Marck Barnes. You got me. I got picked on in school so now I have to bully other people and misrepresent myself. Too bad I couldn't cut it as a cop, now I'm stuck harassing and intimidating good people who are struggling in tough situations.
- DavidDomt pay these people any money Marc Burnes & Andrew Preston with Greenberg Grant Richard Grant co. are crooks,Iiars,I am going to sue tmem .
- Former employeeThey lying but if you are suit worthy watch your ass. They will sue for the money. I worked there for a year Damien and Mark are decoys lying cigarette smoking sacks of [***]!, but GGR does send the real private eyes out there unannounced and take pictures of your spot whilst pulling all of your public records. They then make vendor calls and fiddle with your business. If you can pay them PAY THEM if you can't then you might be f@cked because those guys are evil hearted at times.

- JessicaThis idiot Mark Barnes just called my business he said that he will be at my Bank tomorrow morning, investigating our accounts, and then he will drop by our office and take pictures at our machinery and assets for an asset investigation...LOL...I was laughing, I was not sure if this is an idiot, a mentally incapacitated person, or what?...if he shows up in my office I will call the Sheriff.

- BernieI received a phone call from an UNKNOWN number on my cell phone. The "debt collector" asked for a Tim Mayfield who apparently owes someone a vast sum of about $6000, and I quickly prompted that I was not the one he was looking for. He retorted with "Quit with the damn games Mr. Mayfield and stop lying about your identity." In utter shock, I then again tried to tell this completely rude "professional" I was not who he was looking for. He says "Uh huh, sure. Good luck to you pal, you're gonna need it." I've received numerous calls since then, until I finally answered the phone and demanded I have his information before we conducted any kind of business. He supplied me with a number (713-789-5893 which lead me to this company GGR) and a name (Tony Rodriguez). At this point, I don't feel blocking the number will do any justice. I feel completely violated that I'm being called a liar and in no way will this guy listen to reason. What do I do? And do you think I should get an attorney involved?

So this investigator (Damion Robertson) just showed up to my business? Can you believe this CRAP? He provided me documentation from Greenburg, Grant, and Richards. This scum bag even had a letter from Creditors stating that they are forrclosing on my accounts and deals, until this is paid? What is this about? All I am trying to do is run a business and sometimes I get behind on bill, can they do this. How are they able to get this informaton? I can't believe my banks fell for this crap and now I have only a few weeks to make this BS right... Can some one help me PLEASE????!!!!???? - Jason replies to LOL!!!| 2 repliesLegally speaking, they can not garnish or freeze any accounts, they are not attorneys and they need to sue you first. They pay $50 bucks to local investigators as a scare tactic, to go to your business..as I said, they don't have any rights.
- no longer bothered| 1 replyThere is a free government website www.donotcall.gov there you can list all your phone numbers- they will send you an email with a link to complete the request- this needs to be done within 72 hrs. There is a link to file a complaint as well. Keep in mind that there are people "out there" who are going to attempt to get a rise out of others- try to overlook them. Please pass this info on to friends & family- Good Luck!

Well if they are not able to do it, LEGALLY. Why did my creditors forclose on my accounts and my bank deny my loan I had in place? This is some BS I am writing my congressman a letter about this. Something really needs to be done they have all my info? When I called the Woman whose name appeared as the contact (Paige Phillips) she provided me with everything the investgator had done, Pictures of my place, Bank info, Vendors info, and Personal Information and even my vehicles? I am speaking with an Attorney but I can barely afford that!!! - RobS replies to OOB1108| 1 replyI just got a phonecall from them. How did yours resolve?

Well, After a long and drawn out legal battle my Attorney finally worked out a settlement with them and the company owed. Can you believe they actaully Subpoena my financial records and held me liable for what I thought was legally bound to my Corporation? They are some slicksters. My attorney tried the FDCPA route but do to it not being a RETAIL, debt? they were not breaking any Laws? Our mouth hit the floor when the judge through our arguments out. My advise to you my friend is handle the matter the way you see fit but tread softly because they are some SLEEZY people... - Bernice| 2 repliesOk. This is clear fraud. My business does not owe anyone. All our bills are current and we are in communication with all our creditors (one). I got a message from these idiots sounding all formal and official, saying they are conducting an asset investigation for Randall Preston at Greenberg Green and Richards ,want to come to my place of business etc.I suspect there is a group of con artists out there trying their luck. On Friday, someone called about a Pepco bill when we are not even in a state serviced by Pepco and our landlord takes care of our utility bill. When my assistant told her we didnt have a pepco bill, she preceeded to phish for information about where we were then.. if she was so sure why was she pulling stuff out of the air. I feel these 2 calls are related so just block these fraudsters.

This is begining to get a little riduculous? I just left my bank? My account has a hold on it pending an on going investigation and judgement for $100,000 for something that has nothing to do with my company. Mr. Preston if you are reading this, you have not heard the last of this matter. I find it funny that you would try and play checkers with a chess player. And tell your so called investigators if they ever step foot on my property again, I have something for them!!! THESE KIND OF PRACTICES SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED!!!
