Why are you here? Do you often look up known phone numbers? Have you somehow never heard of phone number spoofing?

Left similar VM as others describe, but this time added b.s. about “technicians following CDC guidelines” and “just need a few minutes at the control panel”.  Don’t answer and don’t return the call.

said they were from 1dt.  they needed to make a service call and i should call this number back to schedule.

Received the same ADT call, asking me to call back to set up service.  My phone marked them as Spam, so they went directly to voicemail.  I cancelled my ADT service about four days ago, so if they really are with ADT, their records haven't been properly updated.

This is a legitimate call from ADT. They need to update from 2G to 3G so your system will still work. More info here: https://www.adt.com/help/faq/equipment/2g

They called left a mssg stating they were ADT and needed to schedule a no cost cellular equipment upgrade. It would take 20 mins and they would follow CDC guidelines. Small problem, ADT has already completed this service. Scam! Do not entertain them.

I blocked the number months ago but they still leave voicemails telling me to call the number back, no other info.

I just received an email talking about the same thing - a 3G cellular backup upgrade and to call  800-724-9118. I am sure these scammers have a bank of phone numbers beginning with 724.

Scam. Received calls from this number multiple times of the day. Recording never confirmed it was ADT . Message request a call back to schedule appointment for tech to access panel for 20 mins. I never called but deleted message.  Don't answer these calls.  Confirm with ADT.

This poster (Keith)is lying. I have been an ADT customer for ten years and this scam has been going fo a long time. ADT will never call you for something like this. They will send mail directing you to call the main phone number which will match the number on your ADT equipment. Tell them to remove you from their call list.

Received a text saying I need new security equipment.   I searched this number first. SCAM

Received this text message from number 342-60 - “Your security system's communication device needs to be replaced. Please call us at 800-724-7565 to schedule a service visit.”

To the best of my knowledge, my security system does not send out text messages. After reading the experiences here, I am more positive this is a scam.
