- Glad I Google'd...I'm glad I looked this mailer up because my factory warranty was just about to expire...so thought it might be linked. The card was just too generic. This is just a note to confirm everyone else's postings above. IGNORE THE MAILER. Thanks everyone!
- GrantI just received the same postcard. Called. Person was an idiot and started to berate me when I asked why she needed to know how many miles were on the car if there's been a recall. She put me on indefinite hold. I suspected a scam and didn't give out any info beyond what was already on the postcard.
The Florida License on the postcard is non-existent. I'm filing a BBB/FL State Atty General complaint about this deceptive advertising. - JerryThe same postcard today, bought new Honda last year, thanks to everyone for posting their experience on this website.
- PatSame for me: Card in the mail for a 2007 Buick, Oldsmobile, or Pontiac, from the Vehicle Warranty Division, Electronic Notification Center. Thank the gods for Google.
- Isn't the internet great?Add me to the list of folks who are glad they googled this number. Got the card today for my Hyundai and something just didn't seem right so I checked. Glad I did -- card is hitting the trash as soon as I find the website for right office in my state and file a complaint.
- Rich CMy girlfriend got the same postcard, except she has a 2002 Caviliar. Caught her while on hold and looked at the card and realized it was a scam and had her hangup when I showed her this site.
- m74cransounds like the same card different number though 1-800-637-3935, 2006 Mazda,Nissan Or Suzuki I bought a 06 suzuki motorcycle, and when I called the prerecorded message kept saying your estimated wait time is 1 min. when in fact it was a half hour on my cell, then when I finaly talked to some one it was not for a motorcycle
- Raven NJTHEY have a NEW number on their cards now. Its 1-800-637-3935 . Same scam different number.. DON'T call them !! I got a card on a Ford Focus for recall. Bogus..

- PNB replies to StephI received the same postcard in the mail, but the Vehicle Type was "ALL" - Probably because my car is 13 years old!. No other info about the "recall" given. Thanks for posting your message so that I could verify it was just another scam/marketing ploy.
- Phillly guyI received a mailer also...did not call checked out here first. I had previously been a mechanic and know you can check out recalls via NTHSB and also noticed they had the wrong year listed on the card. I was pretty sure it was someone else trying to reach into my pocket. Caution to all, if you don't know it by now everyone is trying to steal money from you. It is best to be an informed consumer and sites like this are one for the good guys. That is unless I start getting garbage e-mail from here now, which is very possible. Beware
- Nissan ownerThe woman on the phone said she was with Dealer Services out of Missouri -she said they worked with dealers across the country. My IMPORTANT; High Priority Level call to return concerned giving me an opportunity to extend my warranty. A solicitation. I may have to complain to my AG becuase this postcard was extremely misleading. I thought she was going to tell me there was a recall.

- Bruce replies to JoyReceived a white card with "2003 Pontiac" as the vehicle. Bwahahaha! We have Subarus. Never owned a Pontiac in my life. Knew it was a scam right off. Oh, yeah, real pros they are!
- becky| 1 replyreceived post card today to call this number regarding a 2004 ford vehicle which i do not even own said to call them regarding my warranty i was right to be suspicious do not call this # scam pure and simple.
- Scott replies to beckyHey people, I just got the card "important vhicle info", etc. and I did in fact call them just now. they explained that there COULD be a recall, and they asked me all kinds of questions, etc. finally they said that i need to call my car mfg to ask them about warranty directly (the whole thing is a solicitation)... they transfered me to the warranty dept. where they tried to explain why i needed one, etc and how cheap it would be. 2400 dollars!!!! they are insane!!!! I said i wasn't interested in it, and they continued to argue with me. , finally, i said i don't want it, and formally decline the offer. at that point, they transferred me to another dept., to argue some more. when I spoke to the next person, I said I am declining the offer. and they continued to argue with me how I need it, etc. so I said, NO, I don't want it. and they argued more. finally I got mad, and told them the truth. you guys tricked me into calling you by claiming my car was under a recall, when in fact it was just solicitation shoved nastily down my throat.
i told them I do not want it period, and they rudely said good bye..
i mean, its my car, if I don't want an extended warranty, except it, and stop trying to convince me otherwise. I know what I need and what I don't need, and these [***] on the phone won't take NO for an answer. believe me, I was getting PISSED on the phone.
and yes, I may file a complaint with BB&B because of the harrassing way that they are dealing with customers, and high pressure tactics..
it was worse than buying a user car from a sleazy dealership....
-SY - jbradsThe card says I own a 2004 Hyundai...WRONG! Never owned such car...after reading this plus no return address I knew this was a SCAM. This company idiot that mailed this card is a loser. I wish they had a return address so I can send them their card back + a few...

- GB replies to spir530I received numerous phone calls prior to the card. I asked the following questions: Why don't you have the make and model of my vehicle?
Have the warranty expired on every vehicle in my town? I told them to never call my number again and low and behold I got a call right back addressing me as baby. The conversation blew up in his face, and now I just received the card which I know is bogus. - Complete ScamI also got the same card in the mail concerning a 2004 Saturn. I called the dealership, NOT the number on the card and there were no recalls on my vehicle at all. If the number 1-800-724-9614 is listed on the card, don't call!
- AmyGot that same postcard in the mail, about my 2006 Toyota (nice try, never owned one....) Anyway before I even called, I checked it out here, and sure enough, it sounds like a scam. Thanks for info.
