    Got an email.
Really, it's so obvious SCAM, I checked this number (1-800-727-3757 ext. 174) just to make sure about SCAM and to warn others.

By the way, employees of St Mary's Hospital don't belong to class who uses limousine service, there may be 3-5 people in the building who may be potential customers, but no more than that. ))

    ------
came from IP 68.195.92.161; email: ffredericks@perkscard.com

To Whom It May Concern: I am working with the employees of St Mary's Hospital located in Passaic, NJ. I am looking for a Limo Service that some of their employees can go to and save money. You will be featured in newsletters, emails and on their private web page. If you can offer a discount/incentive and want to work with their employees please contact me ASAP! Didn't get a call, but got an email from "Jenn Kelley" with this number listed as her contact (extension 119). The subject read "I am looking for a med spa" and she supposedly is "working with the South Carolina State Employees located in the Charleston area." The email also stated "I am looking for a med spa that some of the state employees can go to and save money. You will be featured in newsletters, emails and on their private web page. If you can offer a discount/incentive and want to work with their employees please contact me ASAP!" I googled SC State Employees and got all kinds of .com, .org, .gov websites, but none of them matched up with the info in the email, so then I googled the 800# and found this site. Also tried anonymously calling the # and googled the perks group.  Definitely SCAMMERS!! Some people will do ANYTHING to earn a buck, and apparently people are falling for this garbage because they have obviously been doing this for a few years. BEWARE!!

I'm not too computer savvy, but happened to see your post just after I posted something very similar. I also got an email from them and figured it was a scam, but checked into it anyway-I'm self employeed and successful, but never want to pass up an opportunity...Anyway, I saw that you posted the IP address and am curious about how you find that info. So many scammers and losers out there, and they all seem to email instead of call now. If you get this and have a second could you please tell me how I could find out the details, such as IP address, when I get a bunk email? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

actually i do think they have a plan to do the State of SC employees http://www.jobs.sc.gov/OHR/employee/OHR-perkscard.phtm   but it says May, checked with my friend who is a state worker and she doesn't have a card.  Lot of negative press too.  I got the call today for the Columbia Area for the exclusive photographer in a high pressure sales call.  I think I will pass.

    photographer for vista health system
    Total Scam.
This woman named Valerie picked my photography business to be the sole provider to 1,300 Vista Health Systems employees in Waukegan IL. She had narrowed the list to 22 photographers, and asked me to offer an incentive discount to anyone showing a PerksCard ID. She wanted me to pay an upfront fee of $995.00 to be listed in the directory that HR chooses to send out monthly. There's no guarantee that HR would actually include your listing each month. I asked for references, statistics, or analytics and PerksCard refused.

We got a call from  Gerry 1800 727 3757 ext 261 and he claim to be a marketing company who got a deal as representatives of a Hospital in Richmond and wanted to have decorating services for something like 3000 doctors who got lots of homes to redecorate (we are a design company) and he was interviewing some of the top designers in New York to get this job (cmon for real?). Immediately sounded very strange request as we are in this business since 20 years and WE REQUESTED HE SENT TO US AN EMAIL OR FAX STATING WHO THAT WAS WHAT WAS HIS COMPANY AND WHAT HE WANTED FROM US. ALWAYS ALWAYS ASK FOR WRITTEN INFORMATION SO YOU CAN DO YOUR RESEARCHES BEFORE MOVING FORWARD WITH ANYTHING. IF THEY DO NOT SEND and he didnt want to , have some doubts. So he wanted to know more about us but we gave very little information as we knew .

My company has recieved several calls from thsi company (different number), from an individual named Nick representing PerksCard (www.perkscard.com) which is also a subsidiary of Augeo Affinity Marketing, Inc.  I was tasked with pursuinig this.

Nick was pitching their service to our company, where we would distribute "Perks" cards to our employees (~2800 people), which when presented at local businesses and national franchises, would get discounts.  Nowhere in their presentation or contract does it states a slection process of limiting which vendors are listed, just that they are tons of local and national business and we could even request Perks to look into adding ones not part of their network.  This comes with no cost to our company; however, part of ther contract states:

"In order to advertise discounts available to COMPANY NAME employees, COMPANY NAME agrees that “Perks” has the right sell space to pariticaptint local business on all printed PerksCard and on www.perkscard.com the funds from which may be received in thre form of commission and as payment-in-full for all production costs and services offered."

"The undersigned agrees to the use of the COMPANY NAME for press releases during the term of agreement.”

It appears from my research, that "Perks" targets very large reputable companies (like my own and I've seen Northrop Grumman on other sites like this), with their service for no cost.  They then use these company's names in their sales pitch to vendors, in an attempt to legitimize their company, and to also have "proof" that there is a sizeable audience that will see the vendors name.  Their dealing with vendors does not seem as nice as their delaings with the name brand companies which I am not surprised by how pushy they were with us in getting a response back to them.  From what I've read online they withhold costs, and will lie by claiming they will be the only one listed for their service.

All in all, there is enough negative information on about this company that I would suggest people do enough research before agreeing to anything.
