    Me the squeal
No reason in the world for them to be calling my number. 2 old people at the end of their days. Might need blood someday but too many meds to give any. Cash donations? I live in that "Private Sector" that's doing "just fine" as I watch my life savings go bye-bye in taxes.
There is no way to opt-out of their calls. If I was ever to support them, that's gone now!

Red Cross, robo-call, reminding me about my donation appointment tomorrow - lifetime donation #110 for me.  Mildly annoying because I'm expecting another call.

We have donated blood with the Red Cross, so now they think they can call and harass us continually even though I have informed them that my husband is under strict doctors orders not to donate more than twice a year. I refuse to donate any more since they have messed up 5 our of the last 7 times I donated. I'm done!!  But their constant calling is getting on my last nerve......so much so that I went and bought a phone that enables me to block numbers.

The one thing I can not understand is why will the Red Cross (a supposedly legitimate charitable organization (one can never tell nowadays which charitable organizations are legitimate and which are not)) will not leave messages if they are calling to remind us of a up and coming blood drive. I, for one, will not call back 800 numbers that on't leave messages.

I donated blood earlier this year and am now being harassed with daily calls.  I called back and told them to put me on the DNC list but the call frequency simply went up.  You can file a complaint at the ARC website using this link: http://www.redcross.org/go/contactus/public_form.html  Also file complaints with ftc.gov and fcc.gov.  Even though ARC is a non-profit that does not give them a license to harass people.  My employer will also be getting a note.

I have tried 8 times to get off of their list and they said they will not remove me. This is harrassment and must be illegal.

I do not need a call from them. I reschedule my appt thorugh work, therefore, I do not need a call.
I do not give my # out so that I can be bothered. If this is what is going to happen, then I will no longer be giving my # out. I have been called 3 times in the past 4 days with no message left. IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO LEAVE A MESSAGE WHEN YOU CALL, DO NOT BOTHER CALLING ME AS I DO NOT ANSWER ANY #'S I DO NOT RECOGNIZE NOR DO I ANSWER 800, 877 OR 88 #'S.!!!!!!!!

When I answered, no one was there. Bad enough that they're calling -- why bother if they aren't going to answer when *I* answer?

Same here.  They were calling from the local (313) number every day (sometimes twice) for about 4-5 days.  I visited redcross.org and in the Contact Us section filled out a feedback form that gets emailed to them.  Used the Complaint/Concern drop-down for subject.  I received a very courteous email that they would stop calling.  The part that gets me the most is that they would just call and hang up...not a good way to round up donors IMO.

So three days ago, I started getting calls every day from them, this time from this same 800 number.  Every time I pick up, they hang up.  So I sent them another request via the website, and hoping for the best.  I hate to waste a call block (I'm limited to 30 numbers) on an allegedly "respectable" organization.

So I ask the Red Cross if they're reading...really?  Who made the decision to transition to "robocalling" as an effective way to attract donors?  Was there a leadership change recently?  What bonehead thought this would work well?  Yea, call me and hang up on me, that will really get me to help you out.  I will not donate anything to these people anymore, and ultimately it is other people who may suffer because of it.

I have to imagine that there was a meeting at some point at the Red Cross where SOMEBODY thought this would be a good idea?  "Let's harass people until they give"...see I just gave you a free motto, Red Cross.  Best of luck with your new strategy.

I've been thinking of getting a new tattoo, maybe I should call and tell them I did that or went to Vietnam or Iraq or something.  Maybe then they won't want my blood.

"Type louder, I can't hear you."

If actions count for anything, this has to stop. Talk to her, it's BEEN your turn.

Or stop pestering me, all I feel right now is annoyed.
