Got a call from this number from someone by the name of Mr. Mike Wilson who claims to be an attorney. Called it back and of course it doesn't identify the name of the company. Asked him the name of the organization and then asked me for my name. Asked again for organization, but still didn't give it to me and asked for me name. I told him nice try and hung up. I did a reverse search it belongs to

Just a head up in case you get this call. Let him know  we are fully aware it's a debt collection agency and he's violating debt collection act and will be reported.

i got a call from them as well and didnt py the debt owed and got garnisment papers from the county to my work so legal yes be carefull

What does the collection agency show up as on a credit report?  Im getting the call but all my negative information is aged to like 6years and shows Paid on most of the credit bureaus.  I want to make sure that if they do try to go through collections... i can prove their error.

He is calling my office and leaving threatening voicemails. He is very difficult to understand. He has a THICK accent. He said he will call my boss and get me fired if i do not return his call. I tried calling him back several times and it is a very bad connection. I can hear someone that sounds like he is in a tunnel. The number he leaves is 786 275 5079

He says he is from Anderson Law firm. I have no idea what he is calling about. I have a lot of outstanding debts. That happens when you go through a divorce, have a heart attack  and can't pay your bills.

He never leaves a message that says what debt he is calling about. He never gives a co name or file number. I am at  a loss as what to do. He will get me fired if he keeps calling here 20 times a day. I have yet to speak to him as my job keeps me on the phone all day.

actually the number comes up on my caller id as either private or annonymous number. they call, and couple days ago left a threaten message. they claim there are papers in my county court house, and i have a social worker that knows someone who works in the court house. he called his friend, and there is nothing on record. also, i have asked several times for proof of this debt in writing. they only tell me what they have over the phone. several times i have asked, and never got any proof in writing.

Got a called from Mike Wilson threaten to take me to court they got over 2000 dollars from me stating I owe pay day loans. They are scammers be careful don give out ny info they will try to screw you

I had an old pay day loan, so when I got this call threatening me with State and County wire transfer Fraud, I paid the $864.00 immediately, even tho I was pretty sure I had paid this stuff all off just after everything all fell appart.... say mid 2009 early 2010.... because they initially called my father who suffers from early onset Alzheimer's, and I didn't want them to bother him... they called him then, 2009 and then less than a month ago he got this second call threatening the same charges.  This time I kept the payment letter they sent via email... It say M@S Associates.... google turns up nothing. This man says his name is Mike Wilson, and he owns the company.   Well, I got another call today... having just dealt with this number on my phone I called it back... Mr. Wilson tells me that there is another one on my credit report and he would love to handle that for me, it is nearly $500.00.  I questioned him several ways how that involves him and how he has any reason to check my credit.... he says he didn't pull my credit, it came back from the legal dept....   After him not being able to answer any questions to my satisfaction I told him to never call me or my father again.  And hung up.  I then proceded to track down every payday loan place I used (and many I didn't) and call them and check for a delinquent balance. I am an adult after all, gotta fix my stupid crap....  Not one of them says I have a balance, or credit agency on my account. One, the one I have just paid.. which was originally online and the only online one I used...   had sold my account shortly after it came overdue and I tracked it through 4 other agencies, not yet coming to this M@S Associates.  I checked old bank records and nothing has jumped out yet, but we are looking at several years and banks here....... finally I just called the Sheriff's office here and asked them if they have anything pending.... He told me nope.  I asked what to do and he says to call the police.... So that is what I have to do I guess.

Husband received a call from this same number and was told a similar story: an old pay day loan for $200 from 2008 has come back to haunt him and his account has been placed in the courts. He was told a process server was on their way to serve him at work or at home and he was going to be charged with Fraud, theft and malicious intent of theft unless he could pay half of the $1697 that was owed by the end of the week.

After some research online turned up nothing on the so-called "M&S Associates" and a reverse search on the number led to several threads like this one, we decided it was just a scam.  Do your due diligence if you receive a phone call from this organization, Mr. Wilson or a woman claiming to be from your local courts.

What, if anything, can we do to report this man/group?

dont pay these people they are a scam. they wont be taking you to court, they cant even pay for a website... they are just trying to scare you into paying a debt

Well i'm glad I looked this up before returning there phone call,looks like a scam who knows. I got a call from a Mrs Cline didn't state were she was from but I better call this 800-764-3056 EXT 102 to avoid fradulent charges and that I will be served either at my home or work place. I don't even know who they are or what i'm in trouble for.

These people are calling my mother and my sister telling them that they are with the county court house and they are going to take me to court possibly have jail time!  I have 3 children and of course my family started freaking out...After research, it seems like this is a scam... nice try!!  Mrs. Linkford...800-764-3056  ext103..

This person is rude calling me at work saying there is a warrant for me and that i would be arrested this scammer should be arrested for harrasment calling me at work.M and S associates .These [***] need to stop this stuff.She says her name is Mrs Kline we need to go looking for her with a Warrant and a taser

my parents have been getting calls for the last few month, I was at their home this morning and answered the phone and was asked if I was a family member of Wanda, I told them yes. They told me Wanda owed a pay day loan which had a balance of $169, but I owed over $1000.00 and the org co. was Loan Pointe USA.and the loan amount had been $500.00 They were sending the paper from the county in which I lived and whenever I tried to say anything was told by Mr.Wilson to shut up and listen. I went to the police department here to file a complaint and was told this was a scam and to report them to the BBB.

got a call from this company claiming i had a summons to appear in court about an old payday loan from 3 yrs ago ,didnt believe them so i told em to take me to court ,3 days later was at work and was served with paperwork got a court date july 27 th so i will report back after i go !!!no frickin joke
