I was told by a 540 number to call the 1 800 number....its obviously a scam because they keep saying to hold on to answer other calls...i mean who is actually giving out that many prizes? Also my debit card was charged this morning from Reservation Rewards!!! PISSED OFF! Im not sure how they got my information but i called my bank and told them i didnt authorize it and they took it off. Nothing is ever free...Ill be the first to say its a complete scam!

They called me today to call this #1800-797-3052 # and they said the same thing, that I won 1 out of 4 prizes and that I would have to travel like 2 hrs to get that prize and also a trip 2 Florida. I called the 1800 # back 2 get directions to go but they gave me award #!!! I knew right then that it had to be a scam! Im glad there is web sites like this!

Same caller with the same information this evening. When I tried the 800 number that was given to me the voicemail recording just stated when to call back without stating what company or organization it was affiliated with. Will not be bothering to call "Maria" back tomorrow.

Got the same call at 9:15 pm.  My son had received the same call 2 weeks earlier.  I asked if this is a joke and he said no, call this number and ask for.... guess who?!  MARIA!  Something should be done about these calls that amount to nothing more than harassment.

I got that call tonight same story as everyone else. They kept putting me on hold everytime Itried to call the prize center

I got the call & email, however I never entered any contest,  Come to find out a buddy bought in to this and I was referred to the timeshare thru him.  He's optimistic, but I'm not after reading up on the Resort.  I called the number back to see what the deal was and the first thing they ask me to do was provide a credit card to hold a reservation, fee of $25.00, They claim I'd get it back once I showed for the 90min tour.  I don't do business with any place that ask for my card number prior to seeing the service or product, and haven't proven that the are legit. huge NO,NO!!!  SCAM to me!  Plus I've been in tha area, not a place I'd drop big money to hang out in the middle of the woods,  This place received poor reviews from RV goers, Do your homework before you open up your wallet.

just got da call from a guy that said i won 25,000 on a new car. call back in moring at 9 am and talk to maria or some one on her staff.

I got a call from 540-885-7300 asking me to call 800-797-3052 to get a reward. I guess its the same scam as mentioned in this thread!

Yeah, they called me today with the same data. The same name: Maria, the same prizes and the same phone #. I was almost ready to call tomorrow, but of course I won't. I can't believe was almost tricked into a scam. Get a real job people.

Got a call from the 540 number directing me to call the 800 number, same line fed to me that I had won 1 of 4 prizes & to call Maria back with my special code, how can that be possible as obviously they have phoned more than 4 recipients, def a scam, I will not follow-up on it.  I also received this call after 9PM local time, not business standard to get a call so late.  They claimed I had entered to win a free car which I have not done so, I think they are going through numbers randomly & calling them.

Filled out a form at 2009 Washington Dc motorcycle show.  A guy named Brock Anderson told me the same deal about the 1 of 4 prizes.  Told me specifically I don't need to buy anything to claim my prize.  Same deal with the number and catching up with "Maria".

Same thing with me - they called about a month ago & I told them I wasn't interested, & thought that was the end of it. But then I just got another call from the 540 number tonight (persistent, much?). Guy gave me the 1-800 to call & told me to ask for Maria -- glad I found this site, as now I won't have to waste anymore of my time!

Thanks everyone for saving me the time of driving 3 hours to Spotsylvania, VA for NOTHING! I also entered a sweepstakes drawing at a mall and got a call saying that we had been awarded a "guaranteed" prize of one of the following:
1. $25,000 towards a new car or $20,000 cash
2. A carnival Cruise
3. A Disney family vacation
4. A $500 Visa Giftcard

We were also told we would have to come to "The Wilderness Presidential Resort" to CLAIM our prize and that our number would be matched up with one of the numbers there for whichever prize we won. Just for coming they would give us $50 towards gas. They only wanted to do it on certain days like Monday, Thursday and Friday and certain times like 10:30 a.m.  They agreed if we wanted to come on a weekend we would only receive $35 in gas on Saturday and nothing on Sunday. Very odd if you ask me. They also asked us twice if we were married,were over the age of 25 and had at least $30K in annual income. Then they told us we would have to take a 90 minute tour of the resort while we waited to see what we had won and we needed to bring 2 forms of ID..a drivers license and a credit card or checkbook. That also sounded fishy to me. They told us we would receive a packet in the mail that needed filled out and sent back. Needless to say I am so glad I found this website and there are others like this one all complaining that this is a SCAM!! I won't be making a trip to this resort Monday now. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. I will be reporting them to BBB and contacting the mall to let them know about this scam.
