Sears stopped their Sears Card in Canada last year. In fact, they've send out noticed that their Sears card are no longer in use as of certain date in 2015.
Their Sears Master Card or which ever credit card that they had, also became void and revoked. They were nice to move your credit account to a back that is in Canada.
I had made sure that I do not have any outstanding balanced when this happened. But yet, these people keeps calling. Not sure why these people keeps calling because each time I picked up the call, no one says anything and just hangs up.
Wish these people double check everything before calling.

From Canada. Had a Sears MC which has now been discontinued and switched to a Scotiabank card. Only one payment late and I get a call from these depressed MOFOs. Asked me how I do my banking.. Totally inappropriate. Wanted a firm date on payment.. Asked me to pay a smaller sum (this is all over 50 buck min payment LOL) then he wanted me to pay more because THEY let me go over the limit when I had asked them not to allow that when I got the card. Had to tell him the date and what I would pay 3 times before he got it correct yet he's the one phoning me. Blocked the number. Called card services to close account as well and she tries to get me to keep the card HA! Tells me it was their "payment department". Yeah, I don't think so from what I've read here.

The caller ID came up as Scotia Bank...apparently the took over Sears Card and SearMastercard debt.   Very strange that they would have the same number as T.he Chase Bank used to have.  I assume they are calling about a cancelled Sears Master Card. I have been making  monthly minimum payments, I think I missed a month but I made a larger payment the next month, they called before 9am on a Saturday......really.

    Annoyed
i get calls from this no. 2x-4x a day. i usually do not answer calls from an unknown no. seeing all  the comments, i know where the call is from. and its starting to be annoying getting calls. I have a Sears MC and was changed to Scotiabank MC, Chase/sears billing statements in mails are awfully, But i just paid off my account and do not use my card anymore, so i dont see any reason for them to be bugging me calling many times in a day.
