They are relentless in leaving messages that an urgent response is necessary.
It more than obvious that a scam of some sort is involved.

Have phoned at least once a week for the passed month.  This is a recorded message.  They are looking for the woman who formerly owned my house.  I have called and told them that they have the incorrect phone number and that I have a concern that they are associating my phone number with this issue and the individual with the credit problem.  They were rude and obviously have not made any changes.

I have contacted my local tv station to report this to them as well given that I have seen many postings on the web from other people experiencing the same issue.

I have called you people several times to tell you that you have the wrong phone number/person. I work midnights and your phone calls and messages keep waking me up. If I receive any more phone calls I am going to contact the attorneys generals office and file a complaint against your company.

Constantly calling and being obtrusive when questioning their authenticity. Rude, demanding, insisting to speak with me regarding a debt I supposedly owe. Will not answer whether or not they are lawyers (it's illegal to impersonate a lawyer). When returning calls to the number left on message-the call immediately disconnects.

Got 3 answering machine messages asking for "Robert Smith, regarding an important personal matter." Called once to complain and was on hold immediately. I will not waste my time to straighten someone else's records. I believe this to be a scam or else I would call them back. Someone should report them to the FCC or FTC or I will...

They continue to call my work number for someone I know nothing about and who has never been employed by my office.  They promise to take the number off and then keep calling.  Today the women answering the phone HUNG UP on me and when I called back and asked to please speak with her supervisor she hung up again!  I have never had someone from a professional organization hang up on me!!  Deplorable business tactics!

They keep calling and leaving numerous messages for a "Cynthia Bradley" requiring an immediate response. I tried calling back the number several times, but I hear music, then a voice states that the message box is full, then prompts me to enter a mailbox number. Unsuccessful in reaching anyone. They leave a return phone number 1-800-842-1795.

They belong to the sleazebag Zenith Acquisitions Corporation, who purchases worthless debts and then tries to collect on them from unsuspecting consumers:

I have to call these people every few months to have my name "removed" from their database. The calls will stop for a short while but they always resume eventually. They have been leaving messages for Kylie Williams for over 3 years now.

They keep calling my home looking for Abdi? I told them TWICE today to take my name off this list. They have been calling me for more than a month. I told the last rude guy that I had just this very day AGAIN asked for my name off the list. He said " I can't be responsible for what someone else here siad they would do" I said the hell you can't YOU WORK THERE. I'm going to sue these creeps!

They call every night between 7 and 8 like clockwork for someone who does not and never has lived at my house.

These dolts keep calling & asking for someone who doesn't even live here. Calling (about 10x already) is fruitless because the calls continue.

They keep calling about someone that does not live or has never lived at my number before.  I will not take the time to respond.

They called and asked for a person: I thought that they wanted me, didn't ask for her by last name, just first. When I said this is she, the gentleman Dan - immediately became rude and crude on the phone, I tried to explain wrong person and he disclosed all her person info to me and I kept trying to tell him wrong person - he just over talked me and kept demanding payment and becoming increasingly louder and ruder. Needless to say I ended up telling him never to contact this cell phone number again or I was going to sue. I can imagine the calls I am going to continue to receive because I could not get a word in edge wise with the rather rude and obnixous employee Dan they have. PLUS isn't it unlawful to disclose 3rd party information about a debt to a total stranger?

These people have called and left messages saying they have an important message for our the previous owner of the house. I've tried to call the number back but it does a series of odd rings and then goes silent. Tonight, I decided to answer to tell them they have the wrong info, but there wasn't anyone on the other end. What's weird is that when we bought our house three months ago, we got a brand-new phone number. But these people are asking for the former owner, who is in no way associated with our number. Anyway, it's obviously a scam. If I ever get anyone on the phone, I'm going to shriek my lungs out right into the phone to hopefully pierce an eardrum. Ha.

Send them this cease communication letter VIA certified mail with return receipt requested. Keep copies of everything you send. If they continue calling after you have written proof they have received it, they can face fines of up to $1,000.00 per violation:

You should direct all future correspondence in writing as outlined in the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and to cease all communication with me by telephone.

Lastly, I would like to receive confirmation in writing that you have received this letter and will no longer be contacting me about this other person's debt, or I will be forced to seek further legal action.

This is a ridiculous Collection Agency who refuses to explain the reason for their phone call (Mrs. Blackwell was my first representative, followed by Nicole), even better, is that when I asked for a supervisor who identified himself as Neil Owens- told me that he would block my phone number from calling their company (so I could not longer complain that they were contacting me via my cell phone); then after explaining I was NOT the person they were trying to reach they refused to remove my number from their system and even threatened to "block" any numbers that I called into their office from - After asking for Mr. Owens supervisor, I was given to Chris Riveria (Manager of the Pre-legal Department - does this department even exist in a company?) Mr. Riveria explained that he could care less if I receive additional calls and that I needed to give him the exact phone number that I wanted removed from their list- and "NO" he didn't have my number- and he didn't know why Mr. Owens would tell me that they had my phone number. Mr. Riveria then went on to advise me that they had OVER A MILLION ACCOUNTS and my account was not important in the big scheme of things. Obviously, anyone with business sense knows that a rude collection agency is not in business because they are polite, professional and have over a million accounts. Bullying people and being mean is NOT a good tactic for any business, let along collecting money, sales or common sense.  SUMMARY: 2 Representatives and 2 ALLEGED Supervisors later = unsuccessful, rude, pushy, misleading and unethical professional behavior; which, in turns, leads to COMPANY FAILURE:)

Frequently have gotten phone calls from 1-800-842-1795. If I answer, they ask for a Jennifer or Wanda and tell them they have wrong number. Contnue to get the phone calls. I called them back this morning and their reply was "Well, why would Jennifer give us this number as a reference?" I do not even know a Jennifer. I do not want any more of their calls for any reason and hope and pray I did not make a mistake of calling them and giving them my phone number. This is a new number for me and I do not want to be bothered by them ever again

Asking for someone that was an employee over 2 years ago. Told them she hasn't worked for the company in over 2 years.  They told me that they just got this # 4 days ago.   Stating very important to get in touch with them.  Called # back it was Nelson, Watson & Ass.  Wondering if I will get repeated calls.
