Here is a really easy way to deal with these people. First, get caller id and don't pick up their calls. Second, turn off your phone's ringer when you sleep. They call me for somebody I don't know. Since I never answer their calls they now call infrequently and often don't leave messages because they are getting no reaction or feedback from me. Just treat them like a persistent telemarketer.

Received a call for "Carol".  Told them wrong number.  Was told by the caller that it was the listed number for "Carol" and asked how long I have had the number... '22.5 years' and it is listed in my name in the local directory.  Caller told me it wasn't and was listed for "Carol".  Bye Bye, and don't call me again.

I keep getting phone calls from this number on my cell phone.  As a general rule, I do not answer calls from 800#'s on my phone, as it's usually a scam or sales call (such as the infamous expiring warranty scam).  Whoever is calling does not leave a message.

They have called my cell phone repeatedly in the middle of the day. I'm a high school student, so it's a good thing I keep my phone on silent. Everytime I answer, it goes immediately to hold music. I finally stayed on long enough for a real person, and they asked for "Craig," and when I said they had the wrong number, the proceeded to repeat my number back to me and I had to tell them that they weren't calling the right person. It was just so annoying.

I don't ever get messages.  It calls every day about the same time.  I've answered it when they call and all I get is really loud, scratchy sounding hold music.  I waited over 5 minutes one day, just trying to figure out what the heck it was.  I've called the number back and finally got a recording of what company it was and if I knew the extension I was trying to reach to enter it.  Then I was on hold again.

They have recently begun to call my phone and they only got me one time and that was the first time they called! From there on in I have not answered my phone when I see the number. They never spoke or leave any messages..... Cell phones should have a feature that can enable us to block certain numbers from calling your phone.

How do you stop the calls

call and ask for a female that I have never heard of .I told them to quit calling and they call everyday 2/3 times a day.

I have received probably 6 calls in the last 2 weeks from these people. No one is ever there when I answer the phone!  I usually send to VM with no message left. I am not sure why they are calling, but I am getting sick of it, especially with no one on the other end of the line.  I have no bills outstanding!

I keep getting calls from these #'s at least once or twice a day, somedays even more calls.
I answer the call, say hello, and no one answers,
Who is calling my # and why?????   Why don't they answer so I can see what the call is about and if it even concerns me???

calls twice daily but never talks or says anything. just dead air for like 25 seconds and disconnects

I get calls several times a during the work week, when I answer, no one is on the other end.  This has been going on for several months now.

I get calls for a "Sherry Lyons" at my work phone 7244569766. I have told them repeatedly not to call and they are very insistant. I do not know who they are but it is about some type of credit issue.

The certainly have the wrong person. Is there a way to end the calls?

Noboy is ever there when I answer... Nobody has this number... This is my cell, but I have not given this phone number out to anyone, business or personal, as I have a different primary number.  I'm not sure what they want because I try to answer to tell them they have the wrong number, but it's just silent.  This company is annoying.

This Collection company IS ridicoulous with this BULLY tactic method of opertering this company, I explained my Son Passed away, and it was of No concern to this women, she just continued to ask WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO PAY, or we will take you to court immediately. I explained after NOT getting a word in edge wise for 29 mins. on my CELLULAR. These people are Trailor Park folks, they are so hyped up as thought, they are reformed drug addicts. Now, working. I feel extremely weird settling them. I explained she needs to be more professional and lets just make the neccessary payment arangements, but she just contined to bully me, until I told her, wait, if we can't complete these arrangements, then, we would have to do it another day, when I can call and speak to another person, not so bad has her...
