Same here, I got the call checking the number first, but felt it may be a friend from that same area code, so I answered.  And nothing....Then I came into this web site to check out the number.  Sometimes I wonder if it is big brother checking to see if my location has been correctly reported or not. People who call or send flyers in the mail must know we do not want what they are soliciting. But as long as we have people running for a political office and using the same tactics we may never see and end to this kind junk. I have added my cell phone number to the national do not call at ( www.donotcall.gov  ) P.S. it takes 30 days to start working and is good for 5 years. Now when I get a call I save them in my directory as name "ZZ" ring silent. I have a few saved already. This is a FREE way I have found for you to empower yourself, so like me you may want to stop them before they find you, by adding them to your phone directory with a ring silent. I welcome any FREE ideas for blocking the junk calls

I would like to cancel these phone calls from my cell phone wich is 9106906462 alltell.

My wife said I got charged two $9.99 fees and I need to cancel subscriptions. Bid4przes and Openmarket. I had know Idea what these were so I looked back they have been charging me since March of last year. My wife does the bills and never even looked at our statements. Needless to say I'm taking over. But I never signed up for anything. I'm very skeptical of giving out my information, and I never text to win or sign up for junk. Anywase just thought I would add my complaint because I am pissed, money is tight right now and with economy the way it is businesses like this should be shut down. Seems to me this blog started two years ago and they are still doing business. I could understand if it was my bad and I signed up for something. But I haven't even replied nor got any type of texts from these guys nor any notification of contract or business interaction. What service do they provide. If there was interaction between my phone and them there would be no denying it but there isn't. So it has to be a FRAUD.

I just experienced the 9.99 scam on my Alltel/Verizon phone as well, to which I NEVER subscribed.  When I spoke with the "customer care" person at Alltel/Verizon, they said I had to have replied "yes" twice in order fot it to be billed.  When I told them I absolutely did not, they told me one of my kids must have used my phone and they were very patronizing about how kids do things like that.  THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!!  Alltel/Verizon is likely making a cut of the profits.  I plan to cancel my service with them as soon as the contracts are up.

Text Msgs from "704-38," "827-03," "236-07" all three are related to BizPrize3.com which is some sort of survey or sign up for free prizes to those who collect $9.99 off of your cell number (minutes) and get rich from it. This cannot be stopped. There are some numbers that might do it 1-800-861-7414 and 1-800-331-0500 etc whom are associated with the BizPrize3.com. Remember you put in your cell number and your home number possibly, so if you stop it on your cell they'll revert to your home number and still get rich. So, do both if possible. And maybe if you do some research, you can find a way to sue them and put them in jail for doing this scheme, since people have been robbed into being duped by them. I think the short cut to all of this is to discontinue your phone number period. Get a new phone number and ask that this be an opt of of promotions to block future scams. Can't guarantee it but it's worth a try.
