You need to send them a certified, return receipt "not me" letter.  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it.

They called me four times in four minutes and hung up every time after just a few seconds. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize because of jackholes like this, and reading everybody else's reports, I'm glad I missed them. My phone service doesn't have an easy way to block numbers so I'm marking them in my contacts as Scam - Do Not Answer. I have no outstanding tickets. I'm too young to drive yet, morons!

Bill Decker claims to be collecting municipal debts, for an old debt, but can't tell you what the debt is for - demand immediate payment.

just got an email from my boss and they have been calling her office number and leaving 800 866 9436 as a callback. I don't have any traffic tickets or anything else municipal that I am aware of. I did have an ambulance several years ago but, I paid that directly to the city from my FSA account. They can call me all they want and I won't acknowledge because once you pick up they will keep calling. I used to work in Debt collections so I know what the law is. If they are calling you after 9 p.m they are in violation of the FDCP act . What irritates me is they are calling on my bosses line not even my line. I will probably speak to our in house attorney and let him deal with them.

If you do this right with your in house lawyer, you need to first send them a letter to stop their calling you and any other person that they may have on file and your work. Once you do that then every call they place is $500 for first and $1500 for each one after that, you can really rack up the charges against them, I have a friend who got a fat check from them and a company called Midland for the violations of FCPA which covers phone calls. Good luck on getting them to stop the calls, PS another violation that they are doing is False out bound phone number and using a ADS (Automated Dialing System) check this out:

They call about once a day for someone who does not live here

We've been plagued by this outfit going on a year. Usually-- at least one call a day, sometimes two or three. These are robocalls. I have not called them back and do not intend to. How do I make these calls stop?

Bill Decker left a message about a debt owed. This number 800-866-9436 was the number he said to call.  There was a pause in the first part of the message where it seemed he should have said a name, but that wasn't filled in.  He said that if I wasn't that (unnamed) person, I should hang up.  And if I continued to listen to the message I should know that it contained personal information.  Which, of course, it didn't.  Just said that I owed money.  He said the company name was Municipal Services Bureau.  The call was actually from  512 371 7143, according to the "message envelope" on this message.

I have received numerous phone calls to my home phone and have begun to receive them on my cell phone today!!
This person who says he is Bill Dector from municipal services bureau has called both my home phone and cell phone from 512-371-7143. He says if you are not (says no name only a pause) then hang up and call 800-866-9436. I have not called and don't intend to. I did send a message telling them to stop calling my cell ph immediately!! These are robo calls!!

These people have been calling for MONTHS.  Like every other day.  I don't owe anyone anything, now or ever.

First call 12/11/18, 3:52 pm. Didn't recognize the number, didn't answer. Looked number up, Municipal Services Bureau. Called them back on a different phone. I asked if they collect just for Texas or if they also collect for other places. "I'm sorry, I can't give out that information." I'm sorry, too. That information is nothing personal and there's no reason it couldn't legally be given. I called her a few names, told her she was a "_ _ _ " scammer and hung up. Number skued into the phone as 'scam' so I won't answer but I will know who is calling.

Recorded message--generic and can't even identify individual with whom they wish to speak, but instruct listener to stop listening if you not the individual that they failed to identify as the call contains personal and private information...which it did not. If not the unnamed individual, then listener is to call 800-866-9436 to have their telephone number removed from their registry. Supposedly, call is from a Bill Decker from Municipal Services Bureau. Caller id shows 512-371-7143 but the name of an education loan company, NOT Municipal Services Bureau.
