I get phone calls like this all the time. It just so happens that I got this one today. Like scot said, a lot of people will give what they believe to be phony number and unfortunately it invonviences you. It irks me to get somebody elses collection calls but its just a fact of life. People are always trying to find a way to circumvent the system.

Had a call from this # .I have no idea, who it is. I have no outstanding dept.We have been getting many unknown calls lately. Garbage

I was in Christus Spohn one month ago.  I received a call from this number and didn't get to the phone in time.  I called back and she couldn't help me becuase I didn't have the bill with my 5 digit number.  I was angry thinking that it went to collections after only 25 days.  I think that they were calling for someone else.   She said that they handle maybe 147 hospitals and it all worked with that 5 digit bill number.  Giving my name was not an option.

I received a call from them today.  The lady spoke extremely fast and in a disrespectful tone.  I asked her to speak a little slower because I did not catch anything she said.  She stated that I owed x amount, which I thought, that's not right.  That's more than my out-of-pocket expense.  I questioned why and the lady told me that I had two bills and they added to that amount.  I asked her why if my insurance said I owed them this much and they paid this much, then I owe a different amount.  She simply kept adding the two bills together and treating me like I was an idiot.  Then she asked if I was going to pay it all right then and there.  I told her the logical answer:  that if I had the money I would've already paid the bill.  She asked why I wouldn't pay it right then and there and I told her that I have a dispute and asked to be transferred to someone who might be able to explain why I owed them that amount so she put me on hold and did.  I tried to fill in the new lady with the situation and she told me I needed to be quiet and began to treat me like an idiot as well.  I told her I was simply trying to fill her in to why I was transferred and she told me to be quiet and I had one more chance or she would have to transfer me.  Since when is a transfer a threat?  She then stated that she sits right behind "her"  (her is lady #1 who never gave me a name or title and lady #2 gave me a name, but no title) and she made it known that she would treat me the same disrespectful way that lady #1 did.  She said that my bill was for me and my son combined.  I notified her that was all I needed to know from the beginning and thanked her for her time and she still got hostile.  I realized that obviously this lady wasn't going to stop any time soon and I received the information I wanted and hung up the phone.  I am well aware of their core values because I used to work for them and my mother still does, but on the patient care side, and these ladies did not exhibit any of the core values they preach.  If a nurse were to act that way toward a patient, he or she would be fired.  People choose their jobs.  If they aren't happy, they can choose to change their job or choose to be happy.

I've received several calls from this number, and I do have a balance with Christus hospital, but I refuse to return a call when the message doesn't say a business name.

OMG!!! I am more than happy to talk to anyone... I am not a rude person.... BUT when I got a call at my work stating that I had owed a bill I wanted to ask some questions... I was like what a minute let me talk... wait wait wait wait wait... This boy, and "YES" I am saying "BOY" wouldnt let me talk AT ALL he kept talking over me saying ma'am ma'am ma'am ma'am like a little some stupid kid.... I wanted to see where I can send the check to or handle this situation but he didnt listen to me AT ALL... COULDN'T GET A WORD IN AT ALL.... Very rude so I hung up...

I got a call for my husband from that number. She did not identify herself, nor why she was calling, just that she was calling to speak to my husband. They are now using collection tactics that are illegal.

It was a bill collector for a medical bill from Methodist Hospital system. Bill had been sent right after 2nd notification on June 7 (misplaced 1st one, whoops). It's June 18 today, I'll bet it's already in their building.....

Got a call from this #, said it was "the hospital business office" I think it's a scam,  I haven't been to a hospital since 1984

These people have been calling my 92 yr old mother in law who resides in a nursing home on her cell phone. she doesn't answer and we have no idea what this is about she has nothing and is under state care.

T1FTT, I called back while blocking number, they ask for the number called and had billing for another person who was definitely not me. They said they will remove the number... We shall see?  Anyway, still blocked the 1-800-936-6007 they called me on and left message.

This is a collection agency calling under name of a local hospital.

This number is for Christus Health accounting.

This is a very sophisticated scam operation. They are hoping for you to send them money for a hospital bill that your insurance didn't cover. I touched based with Christus and they told me that my bills were all  taken care of by my insurance. I even called my insurance and they told me that my account with Christus is settled.
I guess a scammer only need a good printer and print out bogus bills that really look authentic (even with return envelopes). I pity those people that send these scammers money. The people posting here that this is a legit number are also scammers. Call the Texas Department of Insurance to report and stop this SCAM.

Just robo call & couldn’t understand most of what was said. Still don’t know what it’s all about. No name of who’s actually calling
