I've been told by Spectrum that they do NOT out source to India.  All customer service is in USA.  Don't know if that is true.  Anyway, assume a SCAM.

Thank you for all the informative posts.  Sounds like this crook is really aggressive.  Caller did leave a VM but I could not retrieve; usually a sign of a SPAM.  Origin: Unknown.

Spoofed 800 number from.  Spectrum/Time Warner... some Spunk bubble phishing for credit card info Who could barely speak a word of English… Told him what he could do with it and what I would do to his family if he called me back… Blocked

Very heavy Indian accent, sounded like a call center, trying to lower my bill for something. Could barley hear him. The guy was is gross and was telling me disgusting profanities. Gross!!!

12/29/18 4:01pm Caller ID showed  Toll Free Call 1-800-892-4357. Left no message had to be a scam cal. I had Spectrum they disconnected my service because of overdue bill. Turned everything back to them and went back to AT&T and got a new unlisted number. Spectrum doesn't have my new number. Consider this is a SCAM call.

Number identified as Spectrum.She sounded Jamaican. Had a hard time understanding her. Asked if I pay over $100.00 for service and how many TV's I have. I said if you worked for Spectrum you would have access to my bill. She hung up.

Never trust a caller to be who they claim, always call from an official number to verify if they did call.

The caller ID and the caller State they are from Spectrum. I used to work there so I push this guy's buttons to find out he was trying to sell for AT&T. This guy got so frustrated he started messing up his script he I kept catching him in lies. It's a scam there spoofing spectrums name.

called me and I am a spectrum customer. woman with a heavy Indian accent I told her I was a customer all ready and I could not understand her so she needed to send it in the mail and I hung up.

got a call from a woman with heavy Indian accent she told me she could reduce my cable bills and bundle all three offers for $150 a month. I let her talk on and she asked me who my provider was I said spectrum. She got flustered and asked me something else I was having trouble understanding her. I told her to mail me the info and hung up. She knew my address all ready how nice!

This is a spam and scam caller who uses both Spectrum and AT&T as Called ID. When I received the call, it displayed AT&T. I let it go to my answering. Crooks didn't leave a message. But then in my incoming calls list it showed Spectrum, not AT&T. Fraudsters.

This is NOT Time Warner Spectrum. This is a scam. I confirmed with TW/Spectrum that they DO make promotional calls but they should have all your information! This person will not know what you have for service, what you are paying or your address. Don't give them any information and block this call.
