Earlier this afternoon a call received displaying a number allegedly from Spectrum. It was obviously a spoofed call since Spectrum doesn’t even operate in my area.
I was a little disappointed when a message wasn’t left since I was curious what it was all about. Now I cannot help wondering if there if there will be any other attempted calls.

Stay safe by ignoring calls from unfamiliar numbers.

I got a call from this number claiming to be Spectrum. I think it is a scam.

Tired of these scammers, why can no one do anything about this.  Irritating, to people who are sick.  Stop this nonsense, leave us alone.

several calls over the last few days including 8/2/2021 at 10:53 AM; 7/26/2021 at 12:54 PM
Something about some great package, couldn't understand most of it.
Only problem is I just subscribed to a new package

They're back!  The caller ID shows Spectrum but I doubt it's them as, I'm making a extreme assumption here, that they would adhere to the FTC do-not-call list.  Regardless, they said they were offering a great deal.  Press 1 to talk to one of their scammers - oops - I mean agents.  Not likely that I will press anything unless I could find a button to destroy the scammers phone system.

Dead air phone call.

This number called me on my landline 5 yes .....5 times within 45 mins. After I did not answer the first 3......caller ID changed to "Spectrum"......same number. After I Googled the number.....I saw it was a scam/telemarketer.  I blocked the number on my Spectrum account. I never answer calls from numbers I do not recognize.  If it's important.....they will leave a message.

Same old scammer. Been around for a long time.

Called twice this evening but left no message and hung up both times after the A/M greeting.

Of course one would also think that you would stop spamming threads since you were told several times not to do it (last time was just yesterday), yet you continue.  Maybe you are related to the scammers that keep calling over and over?  In any case, post reported again.

This is the number for Spectrum's mobile sales team. If you're getting calls from it - it's probably a scammer.
