- BigAPenn Credit is very, very, very well known to violate every collection law on the planet to collect an alleged debt. They will ignore certified, return receipt letters as well. Your only recourse is to sue them.
- Anonymous replies to BigA| 3 repliesI am a victim of these robocalls as well. I do not have anything to do with Penn Credit. I am assuming that the their caller ID was spoofed by overseas scam artists.
- BigA replies to Anonymous| 2 repliesNope, it is them and the number is not being spoofed. I find it suspicious that you would try to take the blame off of them for making these calls. Only an employee would do something like that.
- Anonymous replies to BigA| 1 replyI haven't had any calls from them since I blocked the number. Whether it is spoofed or not I don't know. Again, I have nothing to do with the company, nor have I ever done any business with them. I agree with you that Penn Credit is a crooked company that finds ways to scam people into paying debt they never even took out. End of story.
- Mr. EdNumerous calls, nothing left of answering machine (I do NOT answer 1-800 telephone calls that hang-up immediately after being asked to leave a message). These people are annoying, but my call blocker deals quite well with them, thank you.
- Caller: Penn Credit Corp.
- Anonymous replies to AnonymousTo add, if I DID owe money that would have been referred to a collection agency, I would receive notification via US Mail, rather than a phone call. Fortunately, I pay all of my debts on time.
- CKI called this number back and they ask me to verify my address after asking my name. I asked them to tell me what they had on file they would not and because I would not verify they would not give me any information. They had my name why would they not tell me what they have on file. I blocked them from calling anymore.

Whoever these people are or whatever business they're in, it must be profitable. There are 78 pages of comments on this site with the first posting going back to 2007. An they're still around. Wow! - Barbara Tafoya| 1 replyPenn Cr, several times a day calls my landline and never leaves a message. I'm on the Do Not Call list and have no business relationship with Penn Cr. Stop. Stop. Stop.

- not happy| 1 replyI have been getting these calls for close to a year. I answered once. They were looking for "Rose" I told them that person doesn't have this number. But did that stop it no. I blocked the number and they kept calling and it would start at 8 am. They would call every morning at the same time. They would stop for a couple of months and start up and go non-stop. I wish someone would fine this company for harassment and they had to pay for each call I would be very rich.

- BigA replies to not happyYour problem could have been easily solved a year ago.
Again, someone who doesn't want to take the time to handle their problems and wants someone else to do it for them. You have the ability and the legal right to sue them. No one else can do it on your behalf. Everything you need to know has been documented in this thread repeatedly.Quote:I wish someone would fine this company - Resident47 replies to Barbara TafoyaI would say I'm having déjà vu from 7.7 years ago, but it's no illusion and this complaint recurs often. The problem child debt collectors will never "stop stop stop" so long as people cling to ignorance and insist upon applying the wrong laws.
