- ShannonThis is for Aesop system to hire substitutes!
- Caller: Aesop/ FAM
- Call type: Event reminder
- CGJackson` replies to Aesop SupportYou shouldn't be able to call us like this. This should be something we OPT INTO, not something you can automatically do. Until I googled the number, I thought someone was trying to sell me something. This is NOT cool
- Jerico replies to John Doe CitizenThis # is from Stockton, mo it is used when they need a substitute teacher. They also have a site on the internet for teachers & sub's in the school area
- NN Bruning| 1 replyDo not call this cell number
- Call type: Unwanted
- Tygerkat replies to NN BruningYou need to tell your caller that, not post here on a phone number look-up site. This site is not affiliated with your caller, thus they will never see your request.
- G Carey replies to Dale HillThis number is for Frontline Education. It’s a substitute teacher placement site. The early calls are for teachers for that day. If you’re not signed up for some school district that uses this system, I don’t know why you’d get calls from them.
- D CareyReceived a call early this a.m. for substitute teaching job for today. I had a message on my phone.
- Caller: Frontline Education
- Call type: Valid
- RSThe responsible school districts and their substitute offices should receive authorization from the individuals before just passing on the numbers to AESOP. This is the most irresponsible calling system - calling in spite of NO early in the morning.
- Caller: AESOP/RRISD
- Alastair replies to John Doe CitizenThis is the number used when contacting substitute teachers. I am a substitute teacher and get calls from this number informing me of jobs available on a given day. This is not a collection agency or a scam.
- David CarrollThis number calls multiple times daily! It’s a computer so there’s no way to Lodge a complaint. I press the prompt to stop receiving phone calls, but the calls continue!! It’s very frustrating, especially today when they called at 5:45 AM and woke me up 😡
- Caller: The computer doesn’t identify itself.
- KOMAfter blocking this number I learned from our local school district that it is the controlling number for the new computerized system for calling substitute teachers. They just started using it this morning, when the call came through. This evening I got a call from the admin center that they were sorry if I missed a call because of 'an incorrect pin number!" I missed the call because they didn't identify the caller---but I appreciate knowing the experiences others have had with it. I will share with the powers that be!
- Caller: AESOP or something like that
- BlockerNext time you get the call, just “block it”.
- Marsha replies to John Doe CitizenThis is the number that calls me to sub at our school district. So someone has your number in to get calls for subbing somewhere most likely. I don't know if you can figure out where so they can remove it our not.
- Fed Up!Absolutely horrifying! This calling service will ruin your life and basically take over your phone and make it unusable. I am a substitute teacher and I do accept substitute teaching positions almost every day. But I use the online service to pick & choose jobs. Therefore I have absolutely NO NEED FOR THIS SERVICE and it's associated aggravation! So YES, I did submit my phone number and accept partial responsibility for the pain and suffering this calling service has caused me. But when I signed up to be a substitute teacher with the local authority, I had no idea I would have to change my number because of it. Now, no one from the local school districts or the local government agency that administers the substitute teaching positions can call me in case of an emergency.
I had to do something because this service would call me up to 50 a day, often times when I was in the middle of teaching class! The service does not comprehend that I am already on a substitute teaching assignment. I blocked the number to keep my phone from ringing non-stop, but my voice mail box would be full before I even got out of bed in themorning . And sometimes I would get even more messages after I hung from clearing out my mail box. YES, IT IS THAT BAD!!!
To anyone plagued by this annoyance, I recommend simply changing your phone number and letting the next guy deal with it. And if you are thinking about becoming a substitute teacher, DO NOT give them your real phone number! If you do, YOU WILL REGRET IT! YOU HAVE BEEN FOREWARNED!!!- Caller: ASOP nightmare
- Call type: Prank
- MichelleCalled the other morning at 5:30 am, I honestly thought someone must have died for someone to be calling that early. Thought must just be a wrong number. But tonight called again, said hello but nobody there. What on Earth is going on??
- Stephanie| 3 repliesPretty sure this is Aesop, a substitute scheduling system for teachers. If you are a substitute, and the school district you work for uses this system, there is an option to turn off calling when you log into Aesop on their website and change your preferences. When the system calls and asks if you want to turn off calling for the day, or to prevent it from calling again, the pin number they ask for is the pin you use to log in to the Aesop website to get jobs. Hope this helps!!
- Caller: Aesop (I think)
- Call type: Valid
- TheRealSeriously® replies to Stephanie| 2 repliesOr it could be that the number was spoofed by a scammer to appear legit. Remember-legit for you does not mean legit for others
- Stephanie replies to TheRealSeriously®| 1 replyWell from what I've read on here, this number has been Aesop for others as well. But you're right, could be spoofed for some I guess.
- TheRealSeriously® replies to StephanieExactly. Coming here and saying it's legit without mentioning that it was for you could allow a scammer to slip through, no offense
- AnonymThese idiots keep calling at 5:30AM, so the number is now blocked. I'm sure it's a scam
- Call type: Scam suspicion
