- RobertThis number is an automated phone system for CERTIFIED SUBSTITUTE SCHOOL TEACHERS. It is not a scam. The only way you can receive these calls are: 1. You are a substitute teacher and the school district(s) you sub in utilizes this system. 2. Your phone # at one time was registered as belonging to someone who was a substitute teacher, but now they have a new number and the company was not notified to delete the old number, or 3. If you're not a substitute teacher it is possible that a human accidentally typed your phone number into the system (wrong digit typed.) If you do not want to be called again, listen to the prompts and press the ZERO key, to permanently delete your phone number from the system and you will no longer be called.

- kkb55 replies to jnha28021I got a call this morning and couldn't catch the prompts to know how to respond. I waited for a repeat of the prompts but it didn't. Not a very good set up for auto-response.
- Francisco MiyaredGetting unwanted calls as early as 5:50AM! Do not leave a message.
- nomo boThis number is, in fact, a legitimate number used to line-up substitute teachers. That being said, the company that makes these calls should try to use at least a modicum of intelligence by presenting some useful information that can be shown on Caller ID. "NOT PROVIDED" is simply a stupid way of of alienating recipients of the calls. My wife subs from time-to-time, and recognizes the number, but I sometimes do not. I have been sorely tempted to block the number, but then I Google it and see that it is a sub number.

- Concerned as Well replies to Karen-getting harrassing calls tooPlease pass complaint information over, we will happily join. My wife hasn't substituted ed for over a year now, we continue to get call all the time. Have tried to reach out to all companies mentioned in thread and individual schools. We cannot pin point the source. Would happily join class action as well. This is a situation very similar to what LinkedIn was sued for: continually reminding people to join the network.
- MaryJust got a call from 800 942 3767. This is from the aesop substitute system. Alternate solution is go to support@frontlineplacement.com. The listing can be found under the telephone number search as Stop calls from 1-800-942-3767, 8009423767, 18009423767 ...www.frontlinek12.com/Pages/18009423767.html You should see a page that says:
" Why am I getting called?! Stop! " Click on the message as shown. This goes to a legitimate link to Frontline Technologies which is the tech system that runs Aesop.
If you don't feel comfortable giving them your name and email just give them your tel. number so they can remove it from their database. To err is human. . . . to really foul things up requires . . . .- Caller: Aesop Substitute System

- dI am getting constant calls from this number as early as 5 am
- Dolem replies to Aesop Support| 1 replyI got added to your calling list somehow even though I've never been affiliated with teaching. I under stand the anger of other posters on this forum. I've tried the removal options listed on here. (And I tried them again to day. maybe the second time around sticks?) I understand that you need to run the list, that said its unreasonable to expect to have a computer call someone every day at 5AM on accident and expect no repercussions. If I continue to get calls from your numbers I will do what I can to ensure that these calls stop. My only recourse seems to be a legal suit. Really please reform your system to be more considerate, or at least make sure that the stop call options are more available and reliable. Just think of me calling you everyday while you sleep and having no way to make me stop. Really and truely it doesn't matter if its a mistake, harassment is harassment. Make it stop.
- BigA replies to DolemThat person, if they are even who the claim they are, which is doubtful, posted here in 2007, 9 years ago so I doubt they will see your post since this web site does not notify them about replies. Pushing any number to be removed in our experience guarantees you more calls, not less, and I can assure you that the "second time will not be a charm", nor will the third thru 10 millionth time. File reports here, follow this advice, and remember that in order to sue you need to be able to find them and have them properly served:

Call Blocker
You need to buy a standalone call blocker, call blocking phone, use your carrier’s call blocker if they offer one, or download a free call blocking app for smart phones. For conventional cell phones, assign the number a letter like “z” and make no ring. You may also need to have your carrier increase the ring time to avoid having them leave a message on your voice mail. - Carol replies to Karen-getting harrassing calls tooAdd me. Ready to kill.
