- GilliganIf you don't know the number, don't answer and let Voice mail take the call. If you should answer the phone, don't give out any personal information over the phone to anyone who calls you for 2 reasons,
- you cannot verify the identity of the person who called and
- you cannot verify the name of the company they claim to represent
And by not giving out any personal information over the phone will help protecf you from being scammed or worse, being a victim of identity theft.

- Patrick| 1 replySCAM!! They call me daily offering a better rate on my Visa card. I do not have ANY credit cards and haven't for almost 20 years. I inform them of this and they just hang up. I have tried asking them to remove my phone # from their system and then explained I don't have any cards and they hang up. They hacked into the phone system so if you return the call you get the real Chase Bank.

- So replies to Dolores TurnerBlock the number
- Kat replies to PatrickThey didn't hack into the phone system, they simply spoofed a legitimate Chase phone number. Since they won't stop calling, why don't you just block the number?
