- Tashi| 20 repliesThis is a Chase Credit Card Customer Service Number.
- Caller: Chase Credit Card Cust. Service
- No name| 9 repliesI received a voicemail asking for a call back to 1.800.945.2000 and saying that there had been suspicious activity on my "JP Morgan credit card account". I don't have a credit card with Chase. I called the number back and the first thing that the woman who answered asked me for was my SSN. I did not give it to her, and she transferred me to the "fraud department" where a male asked what phone number had been called. I gave him that number and he confirmed that no accounts were tied to that number.
I then looked up Chase's fraud reporting number online, and called it. Chase confirmed that neither the 1.800.945.2000 number nor the number that showed up on my caller ID (614.776.7070) were actual Chase numbers. I can only guess why there are people in this chain claiming that the number is valid, but if you have any doubt that this is a fraud, look up Chase's number and call them yourself. They will confirm that these calls are not coming from or going to Chase. - GLO| 1 replyTHIS GUY CALLED ME AT MY CELL PHONE. I DON'T KNOW HOW THEY FOUND MY NUMBER. I AM REALLY UPSET. STOP CALLING ME.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Joe Citizen replies to robert| 5 repliesThe number may be a legitimate number for Chase but the person calling is a scammer. Chase does not call random people. I received a call and I have NEVER had any kind of acct with Chase. Whoever is on this site trying to convince all of you that this is on the up and up is also a scammer. NEVER GIVE THESE [***] YOUR INFORMATION. Simply do not answer the phone.
- jill replies to kfIt is a scam. The 1800945-2000 is a Chase Bank number but that is not who is calling you. No bank ever calls to see if they can lower your interest rate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- JohnMy caller had 218 area code and gave me the same 800-945-2000 to call back. He said his company is Card Members Services out of Washington DC. He hung up as i was asking more questions. Scam for sure.
- Caller: Card Members Services Washington DC
- clpsfff replies to anonWhat you're not getting is that the caller gives you a real, working phone number for Chase or some other bank. Essentially, the caller, who IS a scammer and is phishing for your financial information, realizes its best to end the call (this is a two-call scam). At that point, (s)he gives you a real working phone number and if you call it, you'll think the call was indeed from the bank. They may then try again with the same shpiel because at this point, you'll believe they are legitimate.

- JHMScammer is onto a new trick. Called and played a robo call message about pressing 1 if I had shopped at Target between Thanksgiving and just before Christmas.
I guess they wanted my card info? I didn'r get to hear all of the message - it cut off and hung up on me when I pressed 1 to speak to a live associate.
The number comes back as not in service when called back.- Caller: Mental Defective Hotline

- Pam Gagel| 2 repliesA man named Paul Obrien phoned me from this number and said he is with Chase Legal. He proceeded to say that I owe money and that I needed to contact CCS because they are suing me for a credit card transfer from this company that we were told is a fraud. Mr. Obrien said that I needed to call before 6:00 tonight. The number he told me to return the call to him is a mobile phone number, 646-571-5860. The credit card was through Bank of America.
- Caller: Chase Legal

- Landy replies to No name| 3 repliesInteresting. 800-945-2000 is the number printed on the back of both of my Chase CCs. It is most definitely a Chase number.
- Karl| 1 replyThey called me this morning, gave me their "web" site creditcards.com which is a legitimate web site, I almost gave them my information and then I got suspicious and hung up. The first call was from (407) 092-1091, he called seconds later, and was very indignant, he called from (407) 043-3434 this time. I used Mr Number on my Android phone and tried to lookup both numbers and both are invalid. The 2nd time I confronted him and asked his name, he gave me a latin name, but he spoke with an Indian accent, when I asked what his company's name was and their 800 number because I want to report it to the police, he said f*ck your mother and your sister and hung up.
- SusanAt first the caller asked why I wanted his number. Then he gave me the 800 number. When I said I was on the do not call list he hung up. The number he called from was 415 307-1353, a local number in my area.

- JonCaller ID number: Florida 321-203-5459
Name: Mark Ballmer
Provided call back number: 1-800-945-2000
The guy tried to ask for my credit card number, expiry date, social insurance number, address and the 1-800 number on the back of my credit card. I gave him a made-up credit card and he went ahead to use it (check the balance), but came back minutes later said the card number was incorrect (duh!!!). Updated the number and he went checking again. No luck (duh!!!!). My coffee break was over by then, so I asked for his name and number before ending the call. The number he provided is supposed to be Chase bank. I am not 100% sold on that either.- Caller: Card Services (fake)
- Call type: Telemarketer
- SunSpot51If this is a scam (likely) or real, it doesn't matter to me. If I paid any less interest on any of my credit cards, they would be sending me money.
- PeterThe call I received was not from Chase. It's a scheme trying to get your credit card number and social security number.
https://www.experian.com/consumer/ca_false.html - EyeThis number has been spoofed....it does belong to Chase, to those of you who have taken the calls and engaged the scammers...THANK YOU. This is the ONLY way to fight back these Indian scammers. The law can't reach them.
- AnnoyedThey called, I picked up - No one responded at other end.
I have been getting allot of SCAM calls via 800 numbers, this is just one more # that is now blocked.- Call type: Telemarketer
